Luxurious apartment in front of the Palace of the Popes A/C

Luxurious duplex apartment refurbished in 2018 located in an historic building across from the Palais des Papes.

The access is Place du Palais but the apartment is very quiet since totally overlooking one of the famous secret gardens of the town.

The apartment has a surface area of approximately 62 sq.m. and consists of a first floor with living room and open-plan equipped kitchen and a second level with a 20 sq.m bedroom with 2 twin beds 80 cm large ( or a double : 160 cm x 200 cm ) and a small adjacent bedroom with 2 twin beds 70 cm x 190 cm ( or a double 140 cm x 190 cm ).
This bedroom is better for teen agers or a couple for a short stay since not very large.

Between the 2 levels, bathroom consisting of italian shower and toilets.
WiFi, TV, and CD player/radio in the living room.

Air Conditioning in the living room and the 2 bedrooms.

You will find modern furniture, vintage pieces and artwork.

An underground toll park space is at 30 meters. Price : 19 Euros per day or 60 Euros for a week. If you stay more than 2 days, it is cheaper to take the week rate ticket. ( not available in summer ).
You have a free park space outside the walls with free shuttle.

Beware the apartment has a lot of stairs and is not adapted to people who walk not easily.

Wonderful, airy apartment in Avignon, ideally located.

We had a wonderful two night stay in Avignon and Alain was a very communicative host who quickly responded to our messages and questions. We drove and he let us know that the paid underground parking at the Palais des Papes was the closest parking lot available, and indeed, it was very convenient. He met us at the apartment, showed us how everything worked, and was kind to let us drop our bags before our check in time. The apartment was light, airy, well equipped, and perfectly located across the pedestrian only square from the Palais. We really enjoyed our stay there!

This Vrbo was incredible in every way. The location was ideal and the apartment was perfect for us. Alain was so very helpful recommending restaurants and tips on how to get to the Avignon TGV.
