Really great apartment in city center. Highly recommend. Parking was a little tricky, especially if you are from the U.S. The parking was across the street in a parking garage and the spaces were very tight
The apartment was a step above the usual rental. It was spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The artwork was fun. David was easy to communicate with. Great stay!
A spacious apartment with great amenities in a convenient location next to Les Halles and within walking distance to dining and shopping venues. The unit was pristine. Great layout, with the nice sized bedrooms in a quiet section. There was construction in the building next door, but the work started late (9:30ish in the morning) and wrapped up before we returned at 5 pm, so we were not bothered by it. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying at David’s place
There was good a/c, and very nice and spacious. Check in instructions were clear. Parking was very close by. There was a nice grocery store right next door too. Host was responsive!
Had a great stay in Avignon. David was a great host and made sure to message us with all the necessary information we needed for our stay. The updated apartment is clean, nicely decorated, well air conditioned and in a great central location. Would stay here again for sure!
Wonderful apartment within walled city of Avignon. Across the street from Halles market. Air conditioning a big plus on days over 100F, a bit unusual weather for Provence. Host (David) was very responsive.
I (39M) stayed here with my parents (77 and 79) for 6 days in march-April. We really loved this apartment and would absolutely stay again. First, finding it and getting the key (picked up at the butcher, and she showed us how to find the door) was very easy. The apartment is a lot bigger than it appears in the pictures! The bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. The living and kitchen area was a great place to hang out with lovely views out the big windows. We found it very easy to keep the temperature comfortable. It was quite chilly (and windy!) in Avignon when we were there, and the heat worked very well. The sunlight in the afternoon helped warm the place nicely for the evening as well. The location of this place is PERFECT - you are right next to Les Halles (where we spent a lot of time exploring and buying food). Almost all of Avignon was walkable within less than 15m. We rented a car for day trips outside of the city, and parking at Les Halles was relatively easy (it’s complicated the first time, be sure to follow David’s instructions). There was also lots of great shopping nearby which was fun to do.Access to the apartment was very easy with the elevator. Do note that it is not completely step-free. There are about 8 or so steps between the street and the elevator. But this was perfect for my parents.I loved Avignon and this apartment made it even more special. I hope to return one day in the future!
Spectacular apartment in the centre of the old town
We were there during the festival and the atmosphere and energy in the town was amazing. Can’t fault the unit, many items were left for us to use, I.e. coffee and utensils and with the market just 30 meters away made life very easy (thank you David). Weather was extremely hot but air conditioning and double glazing handled it very well. Would definitely book again!!
Location perfect for seeing Avignon. It is literally across the street from Les Halles market. The property is very clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen is epuipped to cook and dine in if desired. Host David is very responsive and hospitable.
Amazing place! It was a pleasant surprise. Big and roomy with big windows and great kitchen. Everything was steps away. Excellent communication with the owner. I would highly recommend this place.
This property was way beyond our expectations. It felt like being in a house, it was so big. The 12 foot ceilings and windows made the place so bright. The place being on the corner gave us such a wonderful view of the square. We were so close to everything. Loved Les Halles tight across the street. It was well stocked and clean. We would highly recommend.
David was very responsive and attentive before, during, and after our stay. The location is great- right in the heart of the city and very accessible to local and tourist sites. Updated design made our stay comfortable. The only thing to note is that parking is not included, but there is a garage right across the street in the market.
With our family of 2 kids this was perfect to stay in. Plenty of room, big bedrooms, separate tv, dining areas as well as a modern kitchen and washing machine.
Just across street from the Halles market to grab fresh breakfast breads, fruit, meats, etc.
Also a little back from the bustling tourist center but only a few minutes walk away.
Thoroughly recommend.
Loved this apartment! It was very stylish, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is huge and made cooking a delight. There is a large market across the street with plenty of fresh delights. The city was very walkable from the apartment. The paid car parking is close and made making day trips very easy. It is a chic place to stay and I would definitely book again!
The apartment was perfectly located for our needs very close to parking, across the street from the main food market and within about a 10-15 minute walking range of most of the attractions, shops and cafes. The apartment ‘s kitchen was well equipped for preparing any meals we desired. Avignon was also a convenient location for a day trip to Arles and the Pont du Gard historic aqueduct.
This beautiful apartment was wonderfully located in the middle of the "old city" of Avignon. Shopping streets, markets, pharmacies and historic sites are all just steps away. The apartment itself is very nice and has 2 full bedrooms and one updated bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your needs. There are also room air conditioners which worked fine- we were happy to have those as it was really warm in Avignon during our stay. The owner was very easy to communicate with and we would stay here again if we come back to Avignon.
The apartment is a corner unit on an upper floor. Big windows allow natural sunlight to come in. Windows on both sides allow great air flow. The kitchen is very nicely remodeled. Nespresso machine worked really well and we were able to enjoy coffee first thing in the morning. Les Halles market was right across the street if we had wanted to cook. But there are many restaurants within walking distance so we didn't cook. The location is between the train station and the Pope's Palace, with each a 10-15 minute walk. Very convenient as we didn't have a car and relied on the trains to make day trips outside of Avignon. David was very responsive to our questions. He only writes in French. But with Google translate it was no problem at with us writing in English. The only suggestion I would make is regarding directions to the property. It is on a very small street. Our taxi driver got lost and had to drive around the block on these tight one-way streets making tight turns. I suggest providing the nearest cross street to the taxi driver if you plan to take a taxi. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will consider staying in this apartment again if we return to Avignon.
