Beautiful apartment located on the 5th floor of a secure residence with elevator.
36 m²
Bright with a South and West exposure with view on the apse of the Cathedral.
The capacity is 4 people.
This comfortable apartment, renovated in 2014, offers quality services. The bathroom was renovated in January 2017.
The main room has a 160x200 bed and a 140x200 3-seater convertible sofa. The bedding and furniture are new. Very good cable internet connection. Large 102 cm HD LED TV with over 200 channels and HD DVD player.
The kitchen is fully equipped and new. It has an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, an induction hob, a fridge, a Nespresso coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle ... A dining area for 4 people.
The bathroom is completely renovated: it has a large shower and a sink.
In the corridor, an office area with work plan, armchair and light adapted to allow you to work or read behind the scenes.
Separate toilet
Cupboard and storage.

The apartment must be cleaned by the tenant and the trash can removed. Otherwise, possibility of taking the cleaning fee of 35 €.

Parking is payable on rue de l'Isle. It is free near the residence.

Kindergarten fenced one minute away.

Ideally located in the historic center (the cathedral is a 5-minute walk away, the main champagne cellars are within a 15-minute walk) and close to the hyper center (the city center is within a 10-minute walk) ) where you can find all the shops and restaurants.
In the nearby rue Cérès there are small inexpensive restaurants.
On the Place du Forum and the Boulingrin district, there are trendy bars and restaurants.
On the Place d'Erlon, a lot of restaurant and bar. It is the most animated place.

Lovely Studio Near Downtown Reims

A modern, spacious studio with a separate eat-in kitchen, and very clean shower bathroom, near downtown Reims with a great view of the rear of its famous Gothic cathedral. Located on the 5th floor with elevator; on the Courtyard side, so very quiet. The #3 Bus stop is close to the main street entrance with direct access to the Central RR Station and Downtown shopping & Erlon square restaurants. The flat is Not Air-Conditioned but the owner will supply a floor fan with an evaporative cooler (you add ice-cubes) feature for a hot, summer stay. It features Excellent TV-WIFI set up. Mr. Marcelot, the owner, is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. He speaks English. He will do all he can to ensure his guests' comfort, so do not hesitate to request what you need! No washer/dryer but the flat does include a Dishwasher with several detergent pods and upscale dishes, glassware, pots & pans... Linens are also provided . Wonderful for a short "home-away-from home" visit to this charming city.

Super für Kurzurlaub in Reims

Alles war wie beschrieben, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Sauber, modernes Bad, nette kleine Küche, auch das Bett mit guter Matraze. Superlage, parken in unmittelbarer Nähe kostenpflichtig werktags, aber einige Straßen weiter, ein paar Minuten fußläufig finden sich kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten. Der Vermieter war zuverlässig und sehr nett. Wir können das Appartment uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Well-located, comfortable, quiet, and a terrific host

We spent 5 nights in Reims and found this apartment met all of our needs. It is well-located, just 5 minutes walking from the Cathedral (you can see it from the apartment), 10 minutes to the Cryptoportique area, 15 minutes to the Gare SNCF, and 20-25 minutes from the big champagne houses. So no car necessary to enjoy Reims. Lots of restaurant options nearby. Le 17 was quite good and less than 10 minutes away. The apartment is as shown -- the bedroom / sitting room is large enough and airy, the kitchen is roomy and well-equipped, the WC is separate from the shower, and there is a desk area if you have work to do or want a comfortable place to read on a laptop. You can arrive in Reims at either the Champagne-Ardenne station or in Centre Reims. Cedric was kind enough to pick us up, which saved us time and dragging luggage. If you want to explore the region, it is easy to rent a car in Reims and drive to Epernay (super cute), to smaller champagne producers / villages, or out to Verdun to visit the WWI sites. You can park the car for free just a few minutes away from the apartment, or park closer and pay for certain hours but it is free overnight. Either way, it was easy and convenient as we had a car for 2 of the days we visited. Overall, we were very impressed with the Champagne region as a destination and found the apartment to be a very good and convenient base for our adventures. We would return and stay at the apartment again. Thanks again Cedric!

Worth every penny!

This place was exactly as it appears on the listing. Cedric was an amazing host, and went as far as to pick us up from and bring us back to the train station. He was so accommodating, and even drove us by the city center and hotel where the USA soccer team was staying (the reason we were in town). The home has everything we could have asked for, and then some. Cedric went out of his way to make sure we had everything and knew how to use everything in the apartment. The view of the cathedral was absolutely breathtaking and was about a 5 minute walk. It was so easy to get around by foot everywhere, and everything was so convenient. When we come back to France, we will absolutely stay here again. So perfect. Thank you, Cedric!!

Near all and Quiet

Marcelot was very helpful and accommodating. The unit was a perfect size for two and near most attractions. Since we were driving parking was important and we had no issue finding parking, 7PM-9AM is free. I would stay there again.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec mes deux petits fils dans cet appartement. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire, nous avons apprécié sa disponibilité et les explications fournies pour nos visites. L'appartement est confortable et propre, rien ne manque, photos conformes. One month in Reims

The apartment was perfect for me. I spent mid-November to Mid-December in Reims. It is centrally located, an easy 10 minute walk to the cathedral, 15 min to Place Erlon or the SNCF train station. Bus #3 stops just outside the apartment on Boulevard de la Paix. While the apartment is small, it was all I needed and very comfortable. Good kitchen, a built-in desk to work at, small living/room/bedroom. You can see the cathedral out of the living room windows. A market 10 minutes walking and also on bus line #3. Many good restaurants within 15 minutes walking. My wife and I had a great time.

Cedric was friendly and cheerful meeting us at the apartment on short notice (traveling times always vary). He had Reims maps, tourist information and oriented us to the neighborhood. Enjoyed the big windows, fresh air and super view of Notre Dame over roof tops (easy short walk). Secure clean apt. with good floor plan/space - easy to relax after taking in the sites and champagne! It was a most enjoyable stay - thanks Cedric!

Cedric is a very gracious, kind and helpful host. The apartment, with view of the cathedral, was excellent in every way. It was an easy walk to the cathedral, opera, and centre-ville. It is also only a short walk to grocery store, boulangeris, patisseries, fromageris, restaurants trolley, bus, and train. It is a bright and modern apartment, very tastefully decorated. We highly recommend it to anybody visiting Reims.

Fabulous apt w even better owner!

Monsieur Marcelot was the best host I’ve ever experienced with HomeAway! My luggage was lost flying into Paris and he went out of his way on a Friday afternoon to drive me to the Geodis depot to collect it before they closed for the weekend! Such amazing kindness! The apt itself is clean and well equipped with everything one could need. WiFi works great & cable has a few English-speaking channels. Location is perfect for exploring Reims. There’s a small grocery store one block away and it’s a 15-20min walk to the major champagne houses (Taittinger and Vueve). Again I cannot say enough about how helpful Msr Marcelot was...I recommend his apt wholeheartedly and will definitely stay again if (when!?) I return to Reims! Merci beaucoup Cedric!!

Parfait!

A superb apartment

The apartment on rue de l'Isle is very well situated and you can walk to the cathedral, the Palais de Tau, and the Musée des Beaux Arts in a few minutes. It is a studio, so one room serves as living room and bedroom, but it is very well set up, including a large TV and excellent Wifi. The kitchen and bathroom are first-class, and the kitchen is larger than is usual with small French apartments. Cédric was very friendly and helpful--an ideal landlord/host. I would happily stay in this apartment again and recommend it highly to others.

Idéal !

Appartement idéalement situé pour visiter Reims à pied (centre ville, cathédrale, caves etc). Les photos sont fidèles à la réalité (vue sur la cathédrale, propre, bien équipé). Très bon accueil de Monsieur Macelot qui a su se rendre disponible et très arrangeant. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement pour un weekend voire plus car très confortable.

Nous avons passé un agréable week-end dans cet appartement tout confort et fraîchement rénové. Tout était conforme à l'annonce ; l'appartement est très bien aménagé, fonctionnel, propre et joli, à 5 minutes à pied de la cathédrale. Cuisine très bien équipée. Nous avons pu éviter d'emporter notre lit bébé car il y en avait un sur place. Propriétaire très sympa, flexible sur les horaires de départ/arrivée et de bon conseil pour les sites à visiter. Nous recommandons cet hébergement si vous êtes de passage à Reims !

Superbe!

We really enjoyed our three-day trip to Reims! We absolutely can recommend the flat, because it's very beautiful, nicely done up and comfortable. The appartement is in the centre of the city, so you can reach all locations very easy. Mr Marcelot, the renter, is very friendly and helpful. If we will come back to Reims in the future, we would like to stay there again- hopefully for al longer time =) Cette appartement est très jolie, confortable, calme et au centre ville. Monsieur Marcelot, le loueur, est très gentille et serviable. Nous aimerons bien revenir! Für alle, die vorhaben ihren Urlaub in Reims zu verbingen, können wir diese Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen! Die Wohnung ist komplett und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet- Alles ist vorhanden, so dass man sich perfekt selbst verpflegen kann. Durch die zentrale Lage in der Innenstadt, erreicht man sowohl Sehenswürdigkeiten, als auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ohne Probleme auch zu Fuß. Vom Vermieter Herrn Marcelot wurden wir sehr warmherzig empfangen und spontan sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt! Wir erhielten umfassende Empfehlungen zu möglichen Ausflugszielen und auch sonst stand uns der Vermieter jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Wir sind uns sicher, dass wir nach Reims wiederkommen werden- dann hoffentlich für einen längeren Zeitraum und sehr gerne auch wieder in dieser Unterkunft!
