Come enjoy your relaxing stay at The Desert Sky Cottage. Perfectly appointed, the two bedroom/ two bathroom Queen Creek cottage is pristinely clean and delightful.
The eat-in kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The kitchen features a beautiful farm sink. The Master Bedroom boasts a deliciously comfortable king-size bed. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a spa shower. The second bedroom features a queen size bed. Right outside this room is the second bathroom with a full tub and shower.
Enjoy The Cottage's classic country feel on 2 1/2 acres at the base of the San Tan Mountains. The Cottage is very private. Enjoy the beautiful custom pool and spa with a Baja step and pebble tec bottom. We have wifi available, Keurig coffee maker, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer, and most amenities. Enjoy the incredible desert sunrises and sunsets from the porches. The property is gated and fenced. Owners live on property. Please let us know if you have any questions .

Debbie and Randy and even their extended family were all great! Kind hearted family with an amazing property and even stayed in contact throughout the visit even when they were busy tending to other life stuff. Highly recommend this place!!!

Quaint and cozy in a natural setting

This adorable cottage home was so perfect and homey! The natural setting was beautiful with flowers, birds, and trees. Deb, Randy, and Josh were so very warm and hospitable and went above and beyond their welcome. They made sure we were comfortable! We definitely will be back!

Santan mountain oasis

Well appointed home with lots of space inside and out. My wife and I spent a week here and enjoyed the mountain views, large pool, large wrap around porch, and deck overlooking the pool. House is beautifully decorated and has everything. Terrific hosts. Very helpful.

Spectacular cottage in the sun!

This house was private and very well furnished with all of our needs! We were delighted with decor and warmth! Great sunsets - quiet and secluded! Debbie the owner was very accommodating and friendly! Her special touches made us feel like family more than guests! We will stay here again soon! Perfect spot

Our stay was perfect. Debbie, Randy and Josh made us feel right at home from our first moments at their beautiful property. Super responsive to our questions and requests, the hosts provided so many little extras in addition to the luxurious beds, comfortable furniture, and fully equipped kitchen. We were there long enough for us and our visiting family and friends to be truly at home. Even the sacred mountain was perfectly positioned! Thank you for the grand stay at your beautiful property--a true oasis in the desert. (One small suggestion: A grab rail in the bath would be most helpful for us older folks.)

Perfect quiet getaway

We were greeted with smiles and hugs from the owners and felt so welcome. We received a quick tour and settled in. It was a perfect size cottage for our family. It had everything we needed and we also brought some food necessities. The pool was the highlight because our kids love to swim. We went to dinners at night and lived our stay in AZ. The only problem was that it was too short. The owners are very helpful with anything you need. If you’re looking for a stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city, look no more.

Perfect in Every Way!

To say we spent a week in heaven would be no exaggeration. This cottage was everything we had hoped for: immaculate, comfortable, mountains right across the road, ability to cook or grill our own meals, two beautiful decks to relax on, plenty of either shade or sun, a gorgeous pool, a king-sized bed, beautiful tiled shower, and the best hosts we could dream of. This truly is a magical cottage, one we could have lived in easily. The hosts could not possibly have been more accommodating, yet respectful of our privacy. I highly recommend this property in every way. We hope to go back again some day. Thanks for a fantastic week in every way, Debbie and Randy!

Absolutely Exceptional Stay – 5 Stars All the Way!

From start to finish, our stay at the Desert Sky Cottage stay was nothing short of outstanding—and that’s thanks in large part to our incredible hosts, Debbie and Randy. Their communication was flawless throughout the entire process: prompt, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and well-informed at every stage of our trip. Any questions we had were met with quick and helpful responses, and she anticipated our needs in a way that felt truly personalized. We wanted for nothing during our stay.The property itself is absolutely stunning! Gorgeous views of the San Tan mountains, beautiful flowers and trees, and so quiet and peaceful. The pool and BBQ set up is a true gem— clean and so refreshing. It was the perfect spot to unwind and kick back.This stay exceeded all our expectations, and the host played a huge role in making that happen. It’s rare to find someone so truly dedicated to making guests feel valued and at home. She makes you feel like family. Awesome Property

We stayed here almost a month and definitely would rent again if we come back to Arizona. We had a beautiful view of the San Tan Mountains and very close to grocery stores, gas & other shopping. The beds are super comfortable and the house is very cozy. The fresh fruit from their trees was delicious! The weather did not cooperate for us to use the pool but we were at least able to sit by it at times. It was nice even hearing the rooster crow in the morning when we were outside on the porch. The welcome package was awesome, best we've ever had and we rent houses for our vacations 2-3 times a year. Randy, Debbie & Josh were great hosts and made us feel like we've known them for years. Beyond Words!!

Our month long stay at this wonderful cottage was by far our best experience ever with VRBO. The property was truly like living in the desert with all the modern amenities. The pool was pristine which we used daily. Deb and Randy were as noted in other reviews “the Best”. The house was provisioned with great dishes, cooking pans, comfortable beds and linens. We can’t think of a thing we would have changed or wanted. Plentiful grapefruit and lemons off the trees along with fresh eggs were available our entire stay. We have packed many times at other homes to go home but I never remember packing with the feeling like we won the lottery. This will always be our first choice in returning to our annual Az vacation. Thank you Deb and Randy.

Most Wonderful Stay!

The little cottage was just charming! Every detail thought of in every way! But our hosts Debbie and Randy were the best part😊 They helped us unload our car, had many food items (including local salsa with chips) fresh eggs from their chickens, bread, cereal and more items! Debbie welcomed my 2 grandkids who live in the area and even let them feed her chickens! We were there to be with kids and grandkids for my birthday, and after returning back one night, found a lovely gift bag with balloon, thoughtful card, wonderful smelling candle and soap! Growing up and living in Los Angeles my entire life, I have never felt such love and kindness from people I did not know! We stay almost every month in this area to visit our grandkids, and my husband commented he definitely wants to come back! Thank you Debbie and Randy for your great hospitality and letting us enjoy your little piece of heaven!💗💗💗

North of Nowhere : Secret Gardens in the Desert

This Charming cottage features florist-inspired flower gardens planted in various locations around the property and a small citrus orchard that attract birds and offers expansive vistas of San Tan Mountain. Entering the well-appointed house , guests are welcomed with a gift bag containing wine, chips, and salsa. Fresh eggs, fruit, beer, and bottled water in a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with high-quality linens, cozy living room, and plenty of outdoor spaces are the highlights of this house. The owners allow total privacy for their guest cottage and lovely swimming pool and spa, while quickly responding to questions or issues. Relentless attempts to heat the pool and spa ( due to mechanical issues) finally resulted in a relaxing soak under the stars on our last evening. Note that highway noise is ever-present, but barely noticeable inside the house. The Master bedroom faces away from the road, and is therefore more quiet at night after the traffic has subsided. Being VRBO owners ourselves, we appreciate attention to detail, comfort, peace and quiet. The location is near hiking trails, Queen Creek Olive Mill, San Tan Flats, grocery stores, and other restaurants, yet on the “outskirts” of the congested areas of Phoenix. We highly recommend this “oasis in the desert”. Debbie and Randy are exceptional hosts who make guests feel like new next door neighbors and friends.

Perfect Cottage, Location, Pool and Host

We have rented VRBO houses throughout the Caribbean, SW USA, Mexico, and Hawaii. I want a house that's comfortable, in a good location, with a good pool, plenty of privacy, a host who is professional and responsive, and I want it all at a reasonable price--not "cheap," but "reasonable." I have written many reviews, and this one is hard to write--because it's tough to put into words how great this property is, and how easy Debbie made it on us to come visit. The bed is REALLY comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need, including an INCREDIBLE view of the beautiful desert mountains right outside the window as you stand at the kitchen sink. Debbie thinks of everything--shoot, we hit the grocery store on our way to the house, only to find out that she had already stocked the cottage with all the basics!!! The pool is beautiful. Period. The cottage shares the pool with the main house, but when you book the cottage, the pool is only for you. The lot--all 2 1/2 acres--is private, gated, and covered with beautiful flowers and trees, and you will even see wild cottontail rabbits and maybe even a roadrunner cross your path as you walk around the lot. Debbie is incredible--she is a great person and a great resource; she sent us on two beautiful, awesome hikes in nearby state parks, and to a great restaurant. She gives you all the space and privacy you'd want, but we found ourselves looking for her just to have a chance to chat! The location of the property is great because it's on the very edge of developable land, but only minutes from Queen Creek or Gilbert. Due to this great location, in 4 days we did all kinds of great stuff and never suffered one minute of traffic. Lastly, the price: this house was so great that we didn't even remember what we'd paid, and we didn't care (actually, it's VERY reasonably priced); the point is that Debbie and this cottage helped us have a nearly perfect long weekend getaway--"nearly" only because we wish we could have stayed longer! We WILL be back!!!!
