Space, space and more space. Why cram your group into a smaller rental when you can have all this!
Only other home nearby is the care taker’s house (family’s house) right next door - very convenient should our guests need any assistance, but allows for our guests’ privacy.
This home has a large first floor master bedroom with a cozy nursery area along with train and dress up play for our tiniest guests. The master boasts a large ensuite bathroom with heated jacuzzi tub along with a dual shower head shower room. The master bed faces french doors with views of the country and access leading to the massive oversized covered deck. Additionally on the first floor is a guest room complete with its own nursery area as well and an attached bathroom with two entrances. Both rooms are equipped with queen beds. The entire upstairs consists of 2 bedrooms both actually larger than the downstairs rooms with their own bathrooms as well. One room has 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, writing desk, and a makeup vanity and nursery area. This room still has more space available. The second upstairs bedroom consists of 2 more queen beds, a few cozy reading nooks, a doll house, and play kitchen available for any "Little's" in the house for play time. The bonus room (5th bedroom) over the garage comes with its own seating area and a double bed and futon for additional sleeping quarters.
The fully stocked gourmet kitchen is complete with custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The countertop bar seats 6 and flows into the dining area with an additional seating for 10. The open concept first floor continues into the living room with multiple seating and lounging options.
Feeling energetic, knock out a quick workout in the home gym equipped with commercial elliptical machine and weights located adjacent to the garage and just off the master bedroom.
Need to relax after a long day at Busch Gardens, Water Country USA or Colonial Williamsburg then just retire to the enormous covered back deck that overlooks the woods and crops in the field. The huge deck is equipped with dual ceiling fans, speakers, an oversized 7 burner Jenn-Air stainless steel gas grill, seating and dining options for all guests, a fire table for your enjoyment on those cool nights and yet still room to spare! The covered back deck has been a VRBO's fan favorite for morning coffee, family gatherings, wedding anniversaries, birthday celebrations and even Yoga Class.
We have felt extremely blessed to host our many large families in the past two years with plenty of room for multiple generations. We have helped reunite families, celebrate 60 years of wedlock, a 90th birthday, college graduations, work retreats, and even provided our house to an advertising agency to produce commercial media and print material. The response has been overwhelming and we sincerely thank you for considering our home.
Due to the nature of our property with free range birds, we are unable to accommodate service/ esa animals.
We live in the perfect vacation destination. Enjoy a few days at beautiful Busch Gardens or Water Country USA. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please place all used linens and towels in the laundry room as indicated in our book on the kitchen counter
Please put away dishes after washing
We keep the cleaning fee for our large home low with guests' adherence to checkout procedures.
The fee can double to cover extra hands to assist with quick turnover if checkout procedures are ignored.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This home has blessed us with the ability to travel more often and give our children experiences we could otherwise not afford. Born and raised right here in Williamsburg, I am the lucky father of this great family. After graduating from James Madison University and spending time in Atlanta, Georgia, Branson, Missouri, Fort Smith, Arkansas and Springfield, Missouri to name a few, my wife and I realized growing and raising our family in my beautiful hometown of Williamsburg, Virginia among grandparents and childhood friends couldn't be beat. A 25 year veteran of the restaurant industry, I am finally in the second and most fulfilling chapter of my life, due in large part to the success of this rental, but most importantly due to my faith in our Lord and Savior. After years and countless hours in the restaurant business filled with long work weeks, missed birthdays and holidays and time spent away from my growing family, The Lord put it on my heart to put that aside and focus on what should have been my primary mission, being a true father to my children and the spiritual leader of my household.
I am blessed with a family that has a heart for God and is active in spreading the Gospel. My beautiful wife over the years has served on Outreach and Mission Teams and lead numerous groups of missionaries into Mexico to spread the Gospel while building houses for families in need. Her current mission field is homeschooling our two daughters with the addition of two of their friends. She has an unwavering passion for pouring into young girls both educationally and spiritually!

Our forever home and slice of heaven is located on 6 acres that backs to 800 acres of additional farmland. The only immediate structure nearby is the caretaker's house which is located adjacent to ours on the 6 acres. My wife and I carefully designed our home with the help of a local architect and then proceeded the custom build with my wife overseeing the process from start to finish. This open concept floor plan makes great use of all available space. Whether your preparing a gourmet meal, sitting down to a holiday feast or entertaining in the living room, you're never out of the conversation!
