This house has been completely restored recently.
3 bedrooms with 3 queens beds, living room, 1 bathroom, 1 Kitchen. Central airconditionning - one split unit in the upper staircase
400 sqft private interior courtyard paved with local stones.

The house is first row facing the Ocean just separated by a little road with no trafic.
5min from one of the best beach of Sao Miguel and 3 minutes walking from natural oceans pools.

Our stay was amazing, and Ludovic was accommodating, informative, and available when we had questions or needed anything. We found the location in good proximity to the airport, shopping, and central to everything we wanted to do. We especially enjoyed being right across from the ocean - listening to the waves and birds at night, and easily accessing the coastal walking trails and rock pools nearby. It was a great week!

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved our stay in this gem by the ocean. The property is exactly like on the pictures and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night is such a delight. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. They were very accomodating. The place is ideally located to visit the island. Thank you for a great stay !

We have spend a wonderful week in Lagos. Ludovic and Sandra’s house is exactly as described. A nice place to stay and very well located to move on the island and enjoy Lagoa’s life. And Ludovic and Sandra are very responsive when you need them .

Wonderful experience!

We could not have asked for a better location for our vacation in San Miguel, Azores. The home is located in a great area with easy access to the airport, many restaurants and all sites that we had planned to visit. the owners Ludovic and Sandra offered wonderful communication before and during our stay. The home is right in the ocean with a fantastic view.It is well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We definitely hope to visit again!

Excellent property!

We stayed here with 4 adults and a baby and it was great! The location is very central to beaches, natural pools and restaurants. The host provides a book with great suggestions as well. There is a large grocery store near by to get everything you need to cook at home or make lunches for on the go travel the next day. You also can’t beat the view from right outside the front door. 10/10 recommend!

Loved it!

We had a really great stay in Lagos, with beautiful views and Ludovic was great, very helpful when we needed him. The home was tidy and comfortable. The only downside was the dogs barking if you sleep in the back room, which was actually my favorite but you need to close the window to get some quiet in the early morning. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful place in perfect location!

Beautiful coastal property that is located centrally to everything. The house is spacious and has everything that is needed. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are very comfortable, great sound isolation and the layout, comfortable outside temperature and the absence of mosquitoes allows for natural breeze with no a/c required (it is present, if needed). Plus, of course, nothing can beat the view and the sounds of the open ocean right out of the bedroom window. Located 15 minutes away from Ponta Delgada, a walking distance from grocery stores and swimming areas and about a 20-30 minutes drive to all the nature's wonders that the island has to offer. After a few days at this beautiful place you will truly feel immersed in Azorean culture and a way of life. The hosts are very welcoming and accomodating, making the stay extra comfortable. Would love to return!

Perfect Pied a Terre for Exploring Sao Miguel

Our visit was planned as a celebration of our retirements (all 3 of us). We especially enjoyed listening to the waves from our bedroom windows and loved all of the maps and suggestions for island locations to visit. They sere very useful in planning our daily hikes- incredible views everywhere! A note of caution for seniors who might have issues with stairs/balance: the bathroom is on the ground floor and bedrooms are on the second level. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow but there is a very sturdy, well placed handrail so we didn’t have any problems. Our host was very responsive and accommodating and we were sad to leave this little piece of paradise!

Lovely Little House

We had a great time staying for a week at Ludovic’s and Sandra’s house, being great hosts and very helpful and responsive!! It was very clean and orderly, there are plenty of towels for bath / beach use, and the kitchen is well equipped. We did use the outside terrasse a number of times (unless there was the obvious next rain shower), and even with rain there is a covered space to sit outside or hang towels or swimsuits to dry. And we appreciated the washing machine / dryer, especially after getting soaked on tours :). The climate is warm and very wet, so we often slept with open windows, though you can use climatization to heat / cool as well that works good if it gets too warm/cold. Overall we had a great stay with 2 children (small and big). The house is very close to Ponta Delgada (8 min), Ribera Grande Beaches (10 min) or Populo Beach (5 min). Our children did also like the neighbours cats (cats are everywhere on Sao Miguel), though you should not feed them :) as they are hungry.

Dream Vacation!!

What a fantastic place--both the San Miguel island and the house in which we stayed!! Everything was just as our hosts described, communication was quick and easy...we had such a wonderful time! Our hosts have such a beautiful place, very clean, a great location (short drives to...well, to everything), super-convenient parking, great value...the list goes on and on. Wonderful stay

Great apartment in an excellent location. View of the water cannot be beat, close access to the highway for exploring the island, just 15 minutes to downtown Ponta Delgada. Owner is very responsive and helpful. One word of caution, bathroom is on first floor while bedrooms up and stairs are quite steep, would be challenging for someone with mobility issues.

Wonderful Stay in Lagoa

We spent four days in this wonderful home to attend our son’s wedding. It was immaculate and it looked like it was built yesterday. It was conveniently located, and the access was very good. The view of the ocean was great and the court yard was very nice. It was perfect and I would stay there again.

This house was the perfect size for the three of us (mother, adult son and adult granddaughter). Everything in the house is brand new, floor to ceiling, high end cabinets, washer, appliances, etc. The only fault I had was that was that there was no porch to sit outside facing the ocean. The patio is at the back of the house in a totally enclosed area with no views. That aside, everything was very nice. We enjoyed hearing the crazy seagulls flying about at night.
