A 12' aluminum row boat and three adult kayaks included in rental.
This spectacular rental is a natural oasis from a busy world, yet accessible to many of northwest Michigan's popular tourist destinations. The house can sleep up to 10 people comfortably. The master bedroom is a loft area with view of the lake with king bed and private bathroom. The main level has 2 private bedrooms both with Queen beds and 1 shared bathroom. The finished lower level of the house has a private kids bunk room and a pull out couch with queen bed in the entertainment room with a full bath on that level.
Lake views can be enjoyed from the main living area and spacious deck with picnic table and outdoor furniture. Relax and let the stress of everyday life disappear as you hear the gentle waves hitting the shore while sipping your morning coffee in the screened three seasons room. This house has a very large yard leading to the lake - perfect for outdoor games. The dock has a seating area and ladder and is accessible to some of the deepest water on Big Platte Lake. Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Check the beach and fire pit area for any trash or personal items. Put any trash in trash bins located next to the street.
Return kayaks to rack and ensure paddles are secured. Return life jackets, beach toys, beach chairs to location in garage.
Wash and return any used beach towels to cabinet in the entertainment room.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We love northern Michigan so much and especially the area around Big Platte Lake. Matt grew up vacationing on Big Platte so it’s very special to be able to return and continue the tradition. MaryBeth grew up primarily in Traverse City and enjoys spending time with family when up north. Our careers have taken us outside the state for the time being but look forward to every minute we get to spend "Up North".

This lake and area is special to us. We grew up vacationing on this lake and in this area throughout our lives and now we want to share with you, just how special it is. The house has everything one needs for a great family vacation on the lake.
