Location location location
The fab crab was perfect in terms of location. We had a tram stop to the beach right outside and were within a block or so of the pool. The house itself was adequate - this is not a luxury rental, so set your expectations. The property management company was very responsive and helpful.

Property has a lot of deferred maintenance (duct tape used to fix floors, stains all over carpets, AC unit sound, water slow to drain in sinks, german roaches). House is in a good location but desperately needs some improvements.

Great beach house and amenities. We easily were able to fit two families in this space. Very clean and well kept property. They anticipated our needs (bikes to use, keurig coffee maker, laundry detergent next to the washer/dryer. They thought of lots of details to make our stay more comfortable. Easy walk to the beach and we really enjoyed using the pool. The property managers responded quickly to all our questions and helped make our stay effortless.

Homeowners should be ashamed that they are profiting of this property
Duck taped hardwood floors, holes in the wall, stains on carpet and furniture, air conditioner noise makes it difficult to sleep, drains don’t drain. Would not recommend.

Hot and dirty
When we arrived the main floor had no air conditioning. Two small portable units were insufficient to keep it cool. The main floor was 80-85 degrees. Oversee was unresponsive. Also, the carpets were filthy. I would not stay here again and will avoid Oversee properties in the future.

We took our 2 girls(5 and 2) to The Fab Crab for 7 days and had a great time. The house was in a good location, not on the beach but walking distance to the lagoon pool and right by the tram stop for beach access. We loved walking to the Peddlers Pavilion for restaurants, shopping and entertainment(highly recommend La Cocina). The house was nice, big enough for our small family, clean and had everything we needed. The staff at Oversee was very helpful, the app is amazing and gives you everything you need on your phone including check in information, beach access info, rentals, rules, etc. We had a few small questions and needs at the beginning of our trip and the property managers we quick to respond and resolved our issues very quickly. I would recommend this property and the area to anyone looking to visit Seacrest, Rosemary Beach or 30A and we will be back.

Great Value!
I came with my two teenage daughters and two of their friends. I was leary due to some of the past reviews but my main concern was that the property be clean. And, it was spotless! My biggest disappointment was that the grill wasn't functioning and the kitchen was ill-equipped. However, this didn't stop us from having a great time. The location was perfect- we could walk to the beach of our choice (or ride bikes), walk to the pool and shopping/restaurants. I wish the house had come with some beach amenities such as towels, umbrellas, & chairs but I do understand these items "grow legs" with some renters. That's a shame because we had a full car and couldn't bring those items---but will next time! To those who gave this place a bad review---it's not the Four Seasons- it's a beach house! For this price, and very few issues, I'd definitely stay here again.

Depending on what you’re looking for, this isn’t so bad
The Fab Crab has a great location and the tram system is easy to use for beach access. I loved the ease of using the app for everything. The house itself is “well loved” as many other reviews have stated, so we knew going in that this wouldn’t be a newly furnished, pristine property. But with five boys ranging in age from 5 to 14, our group was relieved the home wasn’t so precious we had to stress about every little move the kids made.
If I could make two suggestions, it would be a larger sofa/sectional in the living room. House says sleeps 10 but only 5 can sit in the living room. Secondly, the mattresses were long past their prime and the time has come to replace them.
Overall we had a great stay!

Great trip
We had a great time at this house. Other people had mentioned some of the wear and tear and that was accurate but no one mentioned that the fourth bedroom wasn’t actually a bedroom— there was no door! It was somewhat private on the 3rd floor but the noise carried up and down. We were very disappointed with this feature.

Great management company. The property is in a great location and has plenty of room for a family. Having bikes available is a nice plus. The negatives: the property is totally run down. Needs paint inside and out. The vents are rusted. The Carpet is old and gross. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. My family was grossed out but we spent most of out time at the beach or gone so we made the most of it. The owner needs to make some serious improvements. I loved working with oversee. I will tryAnd rent another one of their properties.

Cute home with everything it claims
We enjoyed it very much, and we would choose it again. It does have a few minor issues. Couch was a little worn, a few light bulbs were out, our sheets didn’t want to stay on the bed, and the floor at back door needs repair. The air conditioner worked great downstairs, but we never figured out how to get it on upstairs. We also didn’t ask because we had cool nights and didn’t need it. Again, we would stay again. We really appreciate the space and the 3 bicycles.

Great value & Excellent Location
We stayed for a week and the location is excellent! It is a very short walk to the pool and walking or biking distance to the towns of Rosemary Beach & Alyss Beach. The place was clean and there is a good amount of bedroom space. We really enjoyed the bikes included too. The place could use a little TLC as noted in other reviews, but overall the items are minor and considering the competitive price I'd still rate this a 5 star.

August 2020 Stay
We had a bit of rain but over all it was great. The place wasn't a 10 but it served our needs. It is a vacation rental not a home and you can tell but it worked well. You have everything you need to cook a meal and have a nice dinner. The beds and sheets were comfortable and we all slept well. There were a couple of broken things but we will let management know as they probably don't even know. It's walking distance from Rosemary and Seacrest beach. Its a half of a block from the beautiful pool in the photo. Try the beach cafe because the food was great (unfortunately the best we had). The property manager was very responsive! No problems at all.

Needs some TLC
The upstairs part of the house was nicely painted and updated. Downstairs, the hardwood floor had duck tape on and looked terrible from a previous water leak. The downstairs carpet needs to be replaced it’s got dark stains on it. The outside patio furniture on the front porch and yard was too old and gross and dirty to sit on. There was old trash in the yard and other dirty junk in the yard so clearly it hasn’t been kept up in a while. Also the family room is so small and limited seating we couldn’t all comfortably sit. We’ve stayed off 30a for 14 years now and this was the first time we were disappointed.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

Nice clean home. Well stocked with towel etc. easy walk to pool and entertainment center. Friendly security staff. Bikes were fun to have. We drove to Inlet beach because it was. It as not as crowded as beach across the street.

We arrived to nasty accommodations. Had we have been at a hotel I would never had stayed. Knowing we had already paid I felt trapped. We had 3 grand babies who had to be on a NASTY rug!!! The carpets were NASTY! The other list of very dissatisfied complaints are as such:
A loveseat out on the porch was broken and dangerous if someone fell through it on the concrete patio, rusted vents, molded shower curtain, a dresser drawer that when pulled out fell on my foot due to it being broken, dirty dishes in the cabinet, a NASTY couch we had to sit on, shower does not drain, most toilet paper holders were missing to hold toilet paper, the hardwood floor in general very dirty due to age, the outdoor shower area poorly kept, and to beat it all NO WATER for several hours due to the owner not paying his bill!!! I expect to pay a good price for accommodations that are fair, without any hesitation. But, this was very unfair to us. Building memories is our desire but, because the conditions were unsanitary I couldn’t enjoy my babies or adult children in that home!!
I will not be using HomeAway again If this house does not come off the market with this horrible conditions.
The Oversee manager was more than kind as he tried to help with our stay. But unfortunately, he could not make anything right due to the repairs to large to take care of in a day.

Location amazing, house in disrepair
The management company was quick to respond to our requests and the house was clean. We were highly disappointed for the amount of money we spent for a week at the beach, that the house was in need of work. The outdoor porch furniture was falling apart, broken and holes in chairs, missing cushions. One part of being at the beach that our family enjoys is being outside on the porch as much as possible and we were disappointed to find the furniture as it was. I did request that it be replaced possibly during our stay and that wasnt done. The downstairs toilet also had plywood under it where a repair had been done, but the flooring not replaced. Many lightbulbs in the kitchen were out and i requested them be repaired and it was not done either. There were several pieces of artwork lying around when we got there as if they had fallen off the walls. We hung the ones that were easily hung, but arriving on vacation, we truly want to relax and enjoy our time as a family not fix up the house. The patio area was overgrown and thankfully at our request it was trimmed so that we could enjoy the patio. The people on staff were very kind and easy to work with, but wish that there was more follow through and that the home was more well cared for.
