Beautiful home in the perfect location. The house is deceptively big with tons of room for everyone. Easy walk down to the lake even for my parents in their 70's. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Thanksversary

We spent our "Thanksversary" here with a bunch of family members. Lots of room to spread out and a very large bottom story where we could send the younger generation when the oldsters needed a break.

Barbara, Hostess was wonderful and helpful. The property was breathtaking! We had plans to pontoon and go places and found ourselves just sitting on the deck and enjoying the home. It was well stocked. We wanted for nothing! Highly recommend!

Loved it!

Very nice lake house. Our extended family has gathered here two years in a row. Well located with beautiful view of the lake. House is comfortable and will furnished with everything you will need. Large kitchen and living room with enough seating for a large family. We enjoyed the deck, the dock and our boat. Owner is quick to respond to questions. Thank you!

The house allows plenty of space to spread out with separation for adult activities and hangouts with games for the younger ones. Very convenient to boat ramp by the dam with a very short distance to the home’s personal dock. We were able to tie up a 22’ Party Barge and a Ski Boat. People were able to swim from the dock and hang out in the water. Everyone stated how much fun they had and enjoyed their stay. GREAT HOME!!!

Beautiful lake and view

This house was perfect for an extended weekend for our family group. We enjoyed how calm and beautiful the lake was and the great dock. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed and the bedrooms were just right for our family. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners to have a pack n play and a high chair available. The home owners were quick to respond to our questions before our trip and we did not experience any problems during our stay.

Family holiday get together

Wonderful house with plenty of room for all. Beautiful setting with full lake view and lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy it. We had room for games, the kids made gingerbread houses on the large table out on the deck. Great TV reception for watching football on multiple TVs. All that and still had private nooks and lovely back porch for quiet time with a book and cup of tea.

Spacious house with beautiful lake views!

Our family celebrated ‘Thanks-Christmas’ here. There was plenty of room for all 13 of us young adults to not-so-young, and our pup! The kitchen was very well stocked and easy to cook our Thanksgiving feast in. The knives need sharpening (we found the sharpener on the last day) but all other supplies we needed were there. We definitely enjoyed our time together.

Great Summer Getaway

We had a fabulous time. The house was set up great for watching the NHL and NBA playoffs. watching movies, and making dinner. This spot on Tim's Ford Lake works really well for boating and skiing. Our family loves to play hard on the water, and this was the perfect set up. There are also some great places to walk and run with little traffic. Staying here may become a family tradition.

The ‘Whataview Lakehouse’ had the features, setup and setting that worked great for our extended family get together of 8 adults and 6 rambunctious boys for 5 days. It has 6 bedrooms, 5 full baths, a large kitchen-dining-living area, 2 refrigerators, a lower level entertainment area, and a dock with a lounging area. The short sloping walk down to the dock was much better than our prior house rentals which had many stairs down to the dock. The house needs some maintenance and improvements. Upon arriving water was dripping on to the dining room table from the ceiling above. While it subsided after a couple hours and the owner was responsive to our call about it, the ceiling mold indicated a continuing problem. Mildew was also present in one shower, the downstairs TV, the outside grill was too rusty to use, and warped deck boards were potential trip hazards. Two people from our group were hurt from falling in front of the dock gang plank since it was not long enough to extend over the high water area and the slippery algae growing there. With 14 vacationeers staying 5 days, the 3 standard-size trash cans were inadequately-sized for us to meet the house requirements that all trash be within the cans.

Our family of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids ages 6-14) really enjoyed our week at this lake house. The dock was our favorite stay all day place. Lots of swimming, fishing and boating. We brought our own boat and tied up to the dock. Plenty of space for our whole family. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful lake views! We appreciated the owners quick response when needed. Great family vacation!

A quiet holiday by a peaceful lake!

This property is perfect for a family get together. The space adds to the comfort level of people who haven't seen each other in a while. Great family areas and games to play both indoor and out.
