About this property

This home built in 2018 is located in a secluded part of Norris Lake with a gentle slope to the lake. Located on this 90-acre wooded area are only nine beautiful new homes 15 minutes from Rt. 63. Powell Marina is only 5 minutes away by boat. The slope to the lake has NO steps and is only 250' from this beautifully appointed 4 -bedroom/3.5-bath home. The main floor has a large great room, fireplace, 1/2 bath, dining area with a large table, and granite countertops in the well-stocked kitchen. The Master bedroom has a king bed and bath with a huge shower. Each room on the main floor has a walk-out slider to the 12 x 55 partially covered deck. The main floor has a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.
The lower floor has 3 bedrooms, a playroom with a 60" TV, ping pong table, pull-out queen couch, and a wet bar area with a refrigerator. The den/playroom has a walk-out slider to the deck. The master bedroom on the lower level has a King with its own tub/shower and walk-in closet. 2nd bedroom on the lower level has a king-size bed, and the 3rd bedroom has 2-bunk beds. These 2 bedrooms share a full bath. The two-story dock has a boat slip and a top deck w/ slide and jump gate. Also available are two jet ski docks. A fire pit (bring your own wood) is available in the evenings to roast marsh mellows and to make smores! Lounge chairs are located on the lower deck and on the dock.

Great house, but not secluded

We love this house and have stayed here the last two summers. However, we do not plan to stay again. This is a narrow channel of the lake that leads right to the marina. Our boats got ROCKED all week by boats going by fast and with big wakes. This is not the fault of the house, but something to consider. Everyone gets out of the marina's no wake zone and hammers by this row of houses.

Very nice home, with a few exceptions

This was a very beautiful home and we had a great week. It was very clean and new inside and out. Wonderful dock, great kitchen, nice outdoor spaces. We were very disappointed to find out there were only 3.5 baths, not 4.5 as listed. The coffee maker did not work and internet was intermittent and would not even send emails most of the stay. The dryer struggled and took multiple times to dry loads. Also the sidewalk to the dock to the lake was not a gentle slope. The initial drop was the pitch of a staircase with no rail, and the remainder was poured sideways. We have 4 older parents on the trip and they had a lot of trouble with it. We messaged the owner about a couple things when we got there but never received a response.
