This cabin is loaded with everything you need to cook meals and relax. The hot tub is clean and hot. The owners are terrific and responsive. There's laundry and a ping pong table in the finished basement. We will be renting here again. Loved it!
The cabin is super cute and cozy. Great updates with plenty of towels and kitchen items. We had a time finding things. Never found any garbage bags so went and got some. Many lights were out and lots of cob webs around the upstairs bedroom. The cleaning crew might need to remember to clean up there if it doesn't get used.
A little confusing checking in at the gate b/c the code had been changed and we did not know. We called the manger and she answered very quickly and got it resolved with 10 minutes. Hot tub was nice, the only thing I would suggest is to have a cover over it so if there is a shower you can still enjoy the tub. Over all it was great and we would stay there again.
What an amazing long weekend! The cabin was beautiful. Lots of exposed beams and rustic decorations. The owner provided plenty of firewood for the outdoor fire pit. Great view of the sunset from the fire circle. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin.
It could use more plates and glasses and extra blankets . Everything was working and comfortable. The one drawback was having to bring the garbage home, since the waste disposal was closed on Sunday.
The home was very nice. The location is perfect - not too far from Boone. The kitchen was well stocked for 2 guests. Our 2 complaints were that there are no outdoor lights on the back deck. So grilling or enjoying the hot tub at night were out of the question. My biggest concern was the smoke alarms were disabled and put in a drawer in the kitchen.

Lots of dust inside and debri outside.Internet and TV kept popping in and out poor signalTrash left in Kitchen with onions that we found on second day and we removed with our trash, smoke detector downstairs was not there. 3 way switches did not work because hooked up wrong. did not use hot tub because cover was broken and could not be pulled back. some receptacles in master bedroom did not work
We really liked the rustic character of this cabin, including the creaky hardwood floors. We would probably stay again. However, the biggest drawbacks were the internet service for the area (apparently) and being able to use the TV. We know there isn't much that can be done about a weak internet signal but it was frustrating trying to use our tablets. We never could figure out the TV situation even though instructions were given. We couldn't find remotes that worked for the TV in the living room. But overall we had a nice time.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, quiet and comfortable cabin! The hot tub and fireplace inside were nice and we enjoyed them both every night. The only reason I would give it a 4 star is the kitchen did not have enough essential utensils. I’m glad I brought a head lamp because we grilled at night and their are no lights on the back porch area there or the hot tub area.
The cabin is very cozy. Upstairs bathroom would benifit from a facelift. More detailed cleaning would be a benefit. Location was great, nice secure area and a well stocked kitchen.
Absolutely loved the cabin! Host was great at responding. Close to Boone but far enough away to avoid traffic.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a relaxing, quiet honeymoon spot. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was excellent. There were a few safety concerns with the smoke alarms being disabled or missing off their base. We understand that previous visitors had done this due to the amount of smoke that comes from the fireplace. But overall, it was beautiful and cozy. We would definitely come back.
Really enjoyed the cabin. Hot tub and fire pit was very nice. If we had any complaints it would be that the cabin is pet friendly but the only area to walk the dog the grass was about 2 foot high. Also the string lights walking down to the fire pit over half the bulbs were blown. Overall was a great stay would stay here again.
