About this property

Family Vacation home close to the beach

This home is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation with kids. It comfortably sleeps 8 people in beds, plus 2 more on a futon.

The main house has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and the other with three single beds — each with its own en-suite bathroom. There's also a detached casita featuring a double bed, a single bed, and a full bathroom. The property includes a private courtyard, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, garden, and a third-story palapa with stunning panoramic views of the sea, boats, and even fish.

The kitchen and living areas are located on the second floor. Just beyond the sliding doors, you'll find a spacious terrace — the perfect spot to relax, read one of the many books we provide, or take the super short walk to the beach :) In the winter, a few people in Spa use this area for kite surfing; in summer, fishing is best. Spring and fall often bring calm waters, ideal for swimming and stand-up paddleboarding.

On both sides of the property, you'll find resorts within walking distance. Guests can often enjoy their amenities — like the pool, spa, bar, and lounge chairs — subject to availability and/or a day pass.

The San José del Cabo airport is under an hour's drive away, while La Paz is about 1.5 hours north. Cabo Pulmo, home to Baja’s only coral reef and a world-renowned snorkeling and diving site, is just an hour down the scenic East Cape road.

In nearby Los Barriles, you’ll discover a welcoming blend of Mexican and international communities, with just enough nightlife, shopping, and dining to keep things vibrant — while still maintaining a laid-back small-town feel.

Please note: transportation, fishing, car/ATV rentals, cleaning, catering, private chef services, and other add-ons are not included in the rate.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

The property was adequate but not outstanding. Some of the difficulties we encountered were: *Needing to drive late in the evening on arrival beyond the property into Los Barriles and the back again into the property in order to check in. Difficult with young tired children after traveling all day and then walk through an extended review of the property. *The property had obviously not been checked and readied for our visit as the refrigerator was not turned on, many lights bulbs were burned out on the patios, the water heater to the casita was not plugged in and when they did it sparked and smoked! Almost started on fire!.. No hot water in the casita bedroom that night or until Monday ( we arrived on Sat) *The pictures do not show that the empty property in front of the house is surrounded by a fence topped with razor wire - which doesn't exactly give you a feel of safety or beauty of the neighborhood. *The latch on the interior of the gate to the road is rusted open so you cannot secure the property from the inside other then to put a rock against the gate. *The garage was not available to park cars as it had to be dug out from 3 feet of sand. The gardener did this however the slant to drive from the road into the garage through the piled sand was not safe to try with small rental cars. We had to park out on the side of the road. *The repairmen came to fix the water heater Monday but there was no english spoken and they left before checking to see if it actually had hot water. Had to call the property management to get someone back out to open and adjust the heater so the water was somewhat warm. It never got very warm and we had to share the shower inside the main house. *Drain in the casita shower did not drain enough so that you had to stand in a pool of water while showering. *Two of the bedrooms windows are right on the edge of the property wall so any road noise is very evident when sleeping. In our case a group of noisy dogwalkers came by every morning before 6:30am and got the other dogs in the neighborhood barking! *The last night someone came by and disconnected our power without any warning - again no ability to communicate in english. Management again came out without warning and walked in the unsecure gate at 10 pm at night to "check" when we did not ask them to. The view from patio is lovely and kitchen was very easy to use but overall I was disappointed with it ,will find someplace quieter better maintained.
