Charming service in a family home.

In the heart of Normandy, at the gateway to the Pays d'Auge, Jort is ideally located between sea and countryside, the Manoir de Beaurepaire and its tower (17 / 18th century, are recognized by the Heritage Foundation of France) former family home has been furnished so that you feel at home!

The whole house and rooms have been carefully decorated to combine warmth and functionality. In the winter a fireplace in the living room will allow you to spend pleasant evenings in front of a fire. A fully enclosed garden is a pleasant haven of peace, totally safe for children. In the center of the garden, a swing and games for children (seesaw, basketball) complete this bucolic vision and family atmosphere. Located in the heart of the village crossed by the Dives you can make pleasant walks or discover less than 15 minutes: the river down the mansion, horses, the only Norman vineyard "The Arpents of the Sun", canoeing kayak , pool, hook-branch, Vendeuvre castle, William the Conqueror's castle in Falaise.

The house has a surface of 200m² all this under high ceiling. It is composed of an entrance where is the billiard table and unlimited WIFI internet access, a dining room, a lounge (three sofas) equipped with a television, a DVD player, a stereo, an IPode station, and a fireplace and a small lounge to read or toy a board game. Always on the ground floor, is the kitchen, 1 toilet and cellar / laundry. Halfway up is a double bedroom, shower room, 1 WC and 1 single bedroom which is in the tower with the view of the garden. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms with a view of the village: 1 double bedroom with 1 or 2 cots, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds and 1 with 2 single beds), 1 bathroom and a games room for child. All rooms are equipped with duvet, power strips and shutters for extra comfort.

On the garden side, you will find a large terrace from which you can access all the rooms on the ground floor with a courtyard for summer evenings and a ping-pong table. On the lawn you will find sunbathing and in the garden you will find a place to relax or have fun. You will also have 2 garages available with the barbecue, children's bikes, and a foosball for children and adults!

It is a calm, warm place ideal to spend your holidays with family or friends, to come to celebrate an event, to spend the holidays of end of year, ...

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas with 3 under 5’s and a very young baby. The garden was ideal, totally secure and toys as well as table tennis and football. The upstairs play area was great for timeout play and the doors so you can shut off the stairs were very helpful. The house had been decorated for Christmas which we really appreciated. We would certainly book the house again.

Lovely place and the hosts were great very attentive if we needed anything. The house is very spacious with a beautiful and safe garden for our dogs and young grandsonThe only issue we had which had nothing to do with the house or the hosts was the neighbours dogs, they barked constantly when we were out in that part of thr garden and the owner was very slow to call them back in to the house if he actually did at all. Instead we ended up staying near the area next to the house has this caused them to bark less. Overall the house was lovely and we would definitely visit again if we were to visit the area.

lovingly furnished, picturesque house, beautiful, large dining table for around 12 people’s, sufficiently large, functional kitchen, comfortable beds, great entertainment - billards & games, beautiful garden, patio, barbecue area, parking place, The audio/video entertainment can only be used to a limited extent, but we didn’t miss it.

Amazing house in quiet village

We had a lovely stay in this well equipped house. Great outside area and everything we needed. We loved the table tennis and the pool table which kept everyone entertained! There was so much space and the bedrooms were beautiful. Very comfy beds! Well located with a village bakery just down the road. We found lots of things to do in the vicinity. Normandy beaches, high ropes, chateaus, cheese factories etc…. Thank you so much!

Fantastic gite for families

We have just come back from a week's stay at this gite, and we loved it! We were a family group of 6 adults and 5 children (12, 7, 3, 3 and 1). The owner had thought of everything that you could possibly need to keep children entertained - plenty of toys in a little toy room and swings and sand pit etc in the garden. The garden was huge and secure enough for the little ones to run around! The house itself was beautiful and really well equipped - there were even wellies available in case the Normandy weather turns wet! We had a very warm welcome from the owner on arrival, who was extremely helpful an on hand if there were any problems (which there weren't!) The village itself is very quiet and peaceful, and was within easy access to the major sites (Falaise castle, Bayeux, D-Day beaches) I would definitely recommend this gite to anyone, and we will definitely be returning again!

Absolutely beautiful!

We stayed in this villa with our adult son and found everything about it to be wonderful. The villa is large, well maintained, has a beautiful yard (including a grill and seating area), and very comfortable beds. It is fully supplied as if you were staying in your own home with cooking accessories, a washer and dryer, large bath towels, and just about anything else you would need for your stay. The town is quite small and charming with a wonderful patisserie at the end of the road which became a daily visit for sweets and baguettes. The villa is not near the main sites in Normandy such as Omaha Beach and most places we visited were 60-90 minutes by car but worth it in such a beautiful area. Normandy is fairly large so even if you stayed near one place, you could still be 60 minutes from another. The hosts were wonderful and even supplied us with pasta and sauce for dinner when we arrived late on a Sunday night and all of the stores and restaurants were closed. If you truly want to enjoy country living in Normandy (especially with family), this villa has all of the necessities and room for you.

Lovely quirky home

The house itself is lovely, however there are some quirks! We have five kids and a dog as well as my mother-in-law and there was enough space for us all. Plus two cots and a bed in the hallway which I’d not use. As well as a little room that was too quirky for my kids as it’s set in the turret, small and with stone walls. But serviceable as a single bedroom. The top bathroom doesn’t have a toilet which in the night means walking across very squeaky floorboards and down half the steps to go to the loo, but there is another one on the ground floor also. The garden is wonderful- especially with a dog as it’s secure and plenty of space to run around and play games in! We loved sitting outside for dinner it was the highlight for us. Although as a bit of heads up - the next door neighbours dogs do bark allot! However the garden is wonderful and the outdoor seating areas are perfect! Kitchen is small but fully equipped with all that you need. Rooms are spacious and there’s lots of space and games. Our kids loved the pool table and I was happy I could do laundry! The immediate area didn’t seem to offer much but the swimming pool / leisure centre was nice. The nearest town was okay but we loved Bayeux which is a super town just under an hour and half away by car Which has some great restaurants and loads of super shops! There were two cats that liked to hang around but we are an animal loving family so that was fine. Overall we had a lovely holiday, the owner was very helpful too.

Wonderful property. Historic Manor House beautifully restored by current owners who lived in it with their family before moving out once kids left home. Perfect for large family groups. Lots of space. Beautiful grounds/garden. Small but exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Laundry room fully equipped. Great location with lots to do in the immediate area (William the conqueror's castle and other museums in Falaise, amazing market (Mondays) in St Pierre sur Dives - both less than 20 mins away). A castle on your doorstep, cheese factories to visit... Kids loved it - toy box full of toys, cupboard full of games, small sandpit, pool table, table football, ping pong, basketball, swings in the garden etc. Easy drive to Bayeux/ Normandy beaches/Caen but equally you could just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Blackout blinds/shutters and comfy beds ensure a good nights sleep. Friendly welcoming owners greeted us with homemade and local treats. Merci!! The layout is interesting but not so easy to work out from the description. The floor with the bedrooms is in two parts. One part with a double room, a single room, a shower room and a WC. The other part - up a few stairs - has two triple rooms, one double (the nicest room) and at the end a bathroom with twin washbasins and a bath with shower hose (but no WC). There is a kids play area in the wide corridor linking these rooms. There is another toilet downstairs, but in practice means that at night/in the morning everyone is using the toilet and shower by the double and single rooms in the lower part. Didn't bother us in the slightest bit but if individual ensuite type facilities are essential to you, you might be disappointed by this layout, but given everything else this property has going for it it is a compromise worth making in my view. Overall: Highly recommended property and excellent value. Would gladly return. One practical tip : If you drive a very low car which is overloaded with people and wine then would recommend unloading first outside the gate to avoid scraping the bottom on the pavement as you drive in as there is a big dip in the road outside. No damage done but the noise wan't pleasant! Was no trouble once car unloaded.

Das Haus ist wirklich toll. Sehr groß und letztendlich alles was man braucht. Leider ist die Küche nur sehr klein und die 3 Kochplatten sind eine Herausforderung, wenn man für 10 Personen kochen möchte. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und extrem schnell und engagiert!

Super séjour

Belle demeure dans un petit village très calme. Il ne manque rien. Tout est prevu pour petits et grands.Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour avec nos enfants. Juste a signaler qu'il est dit 3 SDB alors qu'il n'y en a que deux. Une avec baignoire et une avec douche. Voilà. Sinon tout était parfait. Clecy et falaise sont juste à côté. C'est magnifique. On a adoré.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé d'excellentes fêtes de Noël en famille. Endroit idéal pour se regrouper quand on vient de différentes régions. Le village de JORT est trés calme et propice au repos.Le manoir possède à la fois des espaces conviviaux (salon avec cheminée et salle à manger), des espaces plus intimes (petit salon et espace jeux palier au 1/2 étage), des chambres très spacieuses avec beaucoup de rangement. La cuisine est trés bien équipée et il y a tout ce qui est nécessaire et bien plus encore.Notre seul regret,c'est de ne pas avoir pû profiter des extérieurs (salon de jardin et terrasse) mais nous reviendrons aux beaux jours pour cela.Les hôtes sont trés accueillants, à l'écoute et réactifs à toute demande.Nous avons TOUT apprécié !Merci à eux

Prachtig huis in een rustig dorpje en een mooie omgeving

Heerlijk verblijf in een prachtig huis. Alles was aanwezig om te kunnen koken, bbq maar ook tafeltennis, pool biljart, basketbal incl ner, voetballen enz. Mooie omgeving met leuk dorpje pierre sur dives op korte afstand waar op maandag een markt is en vele bakkers. Wijndomein op 10 min afstand. kastelen.

Manoir accueillant pour grande famille

Endroit parfait pour se ressourcer en famille ou entre amis. Tout est prévu pour que le séjour soit réussi, on ne manque de rien, les équipements sont top, Le jardin est clos de murs, ce qui permet d’amener ses animaux de compagnie en toute sécurité. Le manoir est juste magnifique et raconte une histoire. Les environs permettent de super promenades, des activités de canoë-kayak, des visites culturelles .... la Suisse normande est juste somptueuse. Une belle adresse !

Heerlijk ruim huis! Fijne bedden (alleen de dekbedden vonden wij erg warm waren syntetisch. Genoeg om te vermaken pooltafel, voetbaltafel, tafeltennistafel, spellen, grasveld om te basketballen en voetballen etc. Verder een heerlijk bad en regendouche. De kookplaat met 3 pitten was een uitdaging, zeker als je er 6 gewend bent. Maar is gelukt. Alles was erg schoon, echt een aanrader!

Une vie de château durant un WE !

Nous avons passé un WE vraiment inoubliable dans ce très beau manoir décoré avec goût. Nous étions 5 couples réunis là pour un anniversaire de mariage . Chaque chambre possède son atmosphère et est très confortable, les lits sont excellents , la décoration est raffinée avec des objets de famille , c’est un régal pour l’œil . La salle à manger est vaste et possède une très grande table ou tout le monde est à l’aise , tout ça sous une hauteur de plafond inhabituelle . La grande terrasse est très agréable et en cas de pluie il y a une partie à l’abri comportant des fauteuils pour s’abriter sans frustration . Le jardin est vaste, ombragé et très bien entretenu .Des pommiers pleins de pommes nous ont régalés Tout est beau dans cette maison, que des ustensiles de qualité dans la cuisine, que des belles choses . L’accueil a été fort sympathique , on s’est sentis très vite chez nous ! Merci beaucoup aux propriétaires d’ouvrir cette maison de famille aux vacanciers, c’est généreux ! Nous sommes enchantés par notre WE ! Merci
