Private beach access, oceanfront patio with grill, parking, private washer/dryer, full kitchen with dishwasher, fireplace, wood flooring, Directv and WiFi. Great for families and large groups.
Steps from Duke's Malibu oceanfront dining, 2 miles south of Malibu Pier, 9 miles north of Santa Monica Pier, 2 miles in either direction of public beaches, grocery stores and shopping.
Apartment is professionally cleaned for each visit.
Note: Our apartment is located directly above our Ocean Room which we use for private events. There is the potential for residual noise from this and also the restaurant, PCH, and the ocean.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please ensure that fireplace/heater are all turned off.
If the grill has been used, please leave the cover off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
2 Night Stay Minimum Required
We will provide you with one set of keys unless an additional set is requested prior to your reservation. Lost keys will result in a $200 fee.
As a courtesy to our neighbors- No loud noises before 8am or after 12am.

Spacious and Comfortable

Perfect place to accommodate extended family members. Plenty of privacy and well-stocked, spacious kitchen. The ocean views make the place quite special and memorable.

Prime location and super spacious

Could not have picked a better stay, it’s located in a prime spot and you even have your own private beach. It’s so spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and plenty of living room space. Jimmy was so personable and easy to chat with and made the process even better. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Super spacious right on the water

Great place! Super spacious, very clean, comfy beds, patio right over the water, great views, and fit with all the amenities!! Although we didn’t cook much, it had everything we would have needed to do so! Dukes being right next door we took advantage of that convenience. We would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed

The house is in close proximity to Malibu pier but the house is very old and not kept up properly. There is no beach access (just an open lot next door) and you cannot see the ocean while sitting on the patio. You look at a stucco wall. The windows were filthy, I had to wash them myself which I haven't even done at my own house in 15 years. The outdoor furniture does not match and the cushions were filthy. Huge problem with ants and roaches on pastries overnight. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very, very nice.

We celebrated my mother-in-law's 86th birthday. The views were spectacular! We spent most of the time outside on the balcony. We loved the kitchen - it had everything we needed to cook dinners there - including a great outdoor grill. The bedrooms were comfortable. The living/dining area accommodated our extended family of 10. Shopping close by. Jimmy greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to visit again soon!

The property is older, but is right on the ocean and you get almost 180* of views - and allllll the ocean sounds. So peaceful and lovely. Jimmy is the best host and super communicative. We had a wonderful stay! We did get to see lots of pelicans and huge sea gulls. Dolphins too.Some things to note as you're planning your stay...The area was not as walkable and "beachy" as we'd hoped, but it was a super lovely and the views from the apartment were amazing! There is a private little beach area right by it, and tou get the key to access it, but it was very rocky and a little dirty so we preferrd just going to the state beach.Fyi it is almost 1.5 hrs to Disneyland (which we expected). Renting a car was helpful because there isn't a lot in short walking distance, but there is a big, really nice grocery (Ralph's) and CVS a short drive up the road. The 2nd Disney day I ubered my teens and it was 120 there, 85 back that night, so very doable if you don't have multiple cars and people want to do different things. Teen Uber is kot allowed in Cali, so i just selected that it was for me and it worked fine.The PCH is still very much under construction post-fires, so it is 25 mph for miles and business are slowly starting to return. We drove to downtown Santa Monica for shopping and restaurants and it was great. Lots of food trucks during the day, too.

Incredible Views, Great Location

Our host could not have been more gracious and inviting. The restaurant below was outstanding, which enhanced the location. It was very spacious, even larger than expected. The views from the deck up and down Malibu were fabulous.

Location location location

Spacious apartment home with a true 180 ocean front location and view. Our family of 7 had a great time with hikes at nearby beach/mountain trailheads, sunsets, hanging out and most importantly, having dinner together from what is a massive and well equipped kitchen. The unit is a bit worn out but an amazing value given the price point for what is a giant ocean front property.

Perfect stay above the wedding venue

Several members of our family stayed in the property which was ideally located for our nephew's wedding at Duke's. The home was spotless, any questions were quickly responded to and the furnishings were very comfortable.

Our private ocean front apartment was newly renovated one year ago and was immediately made available for short term lease, which means that every aspect of this rental still feels brand new. Our location is ideal: private beach access to Carbon Beach (one of the most exclusive private access beaches in Malibu), just a couple miles in either direction of public beaches including Malibu Pier and Santa Monica Pier, plus just steps away from Duke's Malibu oceanfront dining.
