Home sweet home under the oaks, Large Patio, Central Location

 

Family friendly, spacious 2,200 sq ft home with large, partially covered back patio that includes fire pit, lots of seating, and BBQ area (gas & charcoal). There are three bedrooms in our home. The master bedroom features a king bed, 55 inch tv, large walk-in shower, jacuzzi tub, and his & her sinks. The second room has a double/full size bed plus trundle and a 32 inch Roku tv. Our third bedroom has two single beds, 40 inch tv, and just beside it we have a corner office area that can be used at your convenience.  Our sun room features a 60 inch Roku tv with tons of video games and has a queen sized memory foam sofa bed. Overall the house is very spacious so there is plenty of space for everyone.  You'll be close to it all with the comforts of a home.  10 minutes to Lakeland Linder Airport, less than 10 minutes to Florida Southern College, 1 hour to the nearest Gulf beaches and 1 hour from Disney & Orlando. Publix grocery store is also right around the corner.  We welcome you to Home Under the Oaks.

Aundry and Justin were excellent host, very attentive and responsive. They gave us great tips on places to see. Neat, clean and cozy home with a newly renovated kitchen. Best part is the outdoor patio with the fire pit. Great stay.

Great place to stay in Lakeland

We had a wonderful time staying at this home under the Oaks in Lakeland. Made use of the outdoor patio with the fire pit and grill. We are already planning to do this again. Hosts were great checking in to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Lovely Ranch in Lakeland

We’ve rented many HomeAway properties and this one ranks with the best. Very comfortable beds, super convenient location close to shops and restaurants, but tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood with lovely large live oaks overhanging the street. Owners very responsive and lovely to deal with.

Under the oaks

We enjoyed staying at this VRBO. It was very roomy and had a spectacular patio area, part of which was covered. Host was very responsive to requests. Lakeland has more to offer than we realized - lakes and parks - and Harry's restaurant was the best I've had in ages.

Great Stay

We loved the outdoor patio so much that we wouldn’t go out to eat. We ate all our evening meals sitting on the patio. The large jacuzzi tube was also a big plu.

Wonderful home away from home

Beautiful home, comfortable, with enough space for all 7 of us, kids enjoyed the swing out front and the toys and games. Kitchen is well stocked. Patio is beautiful. Hosts very responsive. Convenient location nearby grandma's house!

We had a great time as me & my husband came down to Lakeland FL. A great property and people. Only negative and so many positives that it seemed a small thing. My wife was cold a lot of the time and the heat was limited to a setting of 68. There was a space heater which helped but my wife says she would need the heat setting resolved if we considered coming again. I still rate it 6 stars on a scale of 1 to 5

Lakeland Stay

The house was clean and roomy. The host made sure that I had the contact information and was willing to help in any way needed. The only thing I found fault with is the location of the lock box for the key. We arrived at night and there wasn't enough light to see well. We had to use the flashlight on the phone and we weren't even sure we had the right spot. I think an additional motion sensor light would be helpful. I was slightly offended at a suggestion that a load of laundry being done would be appreciated.

Christmas Together

We had a great time as the whole family got together for Christmas with our oldest daughter in Lakeland. The house had plenty of room and we enjoyed the outdoor firepit/grill area as well. Communication was well done and we had an easy checkin and checkout process!

Peaceful stay under the oaks.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was lovely and well furnished and stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and well situated to lots of shopping, restaurants, and sites to see. This is the neighborhood I grew up in and it was like going home. Audrea and Justin were excellent hosts. We plan to visit again!

Great getaway from the snow!

Nice quiet neighborhood, loved the big oak trees, liked the location. My wife and I wanted to get away and watch the Detroit Tigers spring training. It worked out great. Would definitely stay there again.

Checkin process was easy and quick, which was nice after a 10 hour drive! communication with me was great from the time of booking until departure! Even though we didn’t venture out much, location was great! We spent most nights at the firepit or watching tv outside!!! We cooked most meals at the house and it was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen!!! Our teen son loved having his own space with huge tv in the media room! The welcoming “treats” were a nice touch as well! If we are in the Lakeland area again, we will definitely book again! Thank you!

Great for the family where everyone needs their space too

Property was as advertised. Very clean. We were able to prepare our traditional Thanksgiving meal in the fully equipped kitchen. More screens, gaming consoles, and streaming than we knew what to do with. Perfect place for parents to meet up with kid going to school in Lakeland. The owners graciously accommodated our late checkout request too. Thank you!
