3 Bedroom Cabin With Full Bathroom And Full Kitchen
Our unique bed and breakfast is a rental cabin that can sleep 7 comfortably. Even with its amazing location in the city, it still has the country view and feel. Enjoy complete privacy of your own cabin, while only being 1/2 mile from the main highway. It includes a full bathroom, full kitchen, Keurig coffee machine, 5 beds, deck/patio, cable TV, Smart TV, and free wifi. It is close to the Bridges of Madison County, and several wineries. If you wish to just come and get away for the weekend, the large deck and fire ring are yours to use while you visit. Breakfast foods are provided, so if you want to sleep in, you can fix breakfast when you're ready.

The Corn Crib was great. I wish we'd had more time to kick back and relax there. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed along with some breakfast items which was very helpful.

Description perfectly describes the property: minutes from the center of town but with a wonderfully secluded feel. Barb was communicative and helpful. Very nice to have the makings in the fridge for a nice breakfast. Have already booked for next year.

This was in a very quite location, very clean and super cozy

We had a business retreat here and were able to accomplish a lot because it was so quite and welcoming. I recommend this place for anyone coming to the DesMoine area to relax.

Loved this cabin. Very cozy. We were there when temps were negative, and were pleasantly suprised at the warmth the cabin had. Barb was great, checked in, and was flexible with check in/check out times. It had everything we needed for some recharge/self care. Would love to come back sometime!

This was a perfect place to have a laidback girls weekend! The cabin was very clean, private, and quiet location to relax and unwind. Downtown Indianola had Halloween festivities to enjoy while we were there. Highly recommend the Corn Crib for a relaxing getaway!

Districts Duals

We were in Indianola for AAU districts duals wrestling and looking for someplace to stay for the night. The Corn Crib was the perfect quaint little cabin for the 6 of us. The breakfast items were an awesome bonus. Barb was a great host and we even bought the cutest little coffee mugs to commemorate our stay. If we’re ever in the area we would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time staying at The Corn Crib! It was peaceful and relaxing. Located on the edge of town but you feel like you are out in the country. Very quaint place and Barb quickly responded to questions. Was a nice treat to have a few breakfast items available to use. Yummy homemade jam.

Make this Crib your Crib

Loved this place. Comfortable inviting environment. Great lighting! Excellent shower! Quiet beautiful location! Take a walk down the gravel road to the park or go a bit farther around the bend to the beautiful iron trestle bridge, appreciate the prairie plantings and amazing diversity of birds along the way. Note that there are curtains closing off the sleeping areas not doors. This wasn't an issue for us. We hope that our travels bring us here again.

Great place

Happy to have had the opportunity to stay at the corn crib. The property is a crafty/picturesque cabin that sits on some acre(s) of land with other homes (other than the hosts) too far away to notice. This type of privacy is always something we look for as it is more peaceful. There’s a fire pit & a deck available to the guests. The home although small, is spacious enough for 4 ppl and 2 dogs to enjoy (not so small after all). There is a/c and did I mention the property was peaceful, private, and beautiful? The host came by to greet us which was very kind and the home was equipped with breakfast foods. NO COMPLAINTS! Thank you Barb.
