The house was fantastic! We had five people and were in town for a wedding. This house perfectly suited our needs. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

The host was communicative, the house comfortable and easy to find. We didn't spend a lot of time there as we were in town for family events at another close by location, but we did have everything we needed.

Property was very clean, neighborhood was quiet and the property was exactly as represented. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement and the closeness to grocery shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Our family stayed here for the weekend for a Drake football game. It is a great location. It if a very comfortable home and had everything that we needed to cook our meals for the weekend. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

The overall home was clean and host communicated great. Upon arrival the downstairs smelled very heavily of smoke, which was frustrating due to one of the guest allergies. Thanks to the first day of nice weather, we were able to open window and air out a bit. Other than that it was a great stay. We had a huge snow storm while staying, and the host had the snow cleared while we were out for the day.

Cozy short stay

We just needed a place to stay for a family funeral north of Des Moines. This place was located close to all the things we needed for our trip. A couple of things were missing, but our host quickly supplied those things. It was a very pleasant stay and would recommend to others!

A real home from home

Dan, our host, thought of absokutely everything we would need home from home. The house is beautifully decorated with THE most confortable beds. This is our go to home whenever we come to Des Moines and I cannot recommend the property more highly

WONDERFUL

The location Was great. The only minor complaint I would have were the beds are overly firm, Or if the outside patio furniture had cushions! Otherwise the location was great. The property owner was amazing

Girl’s weekend

The property is really nice. The only downside is parking if you have multiple vehicles. The street is very narrow. Otherwise it was perfect for the weekend that we stayed!

Great Host

Our host was great, very responsive to questions and communication. House was what we expected. We didn’t know anything about the area and it seems like it’s in transition but the street the house is on is nice. Would stay here again, it met our needs perfectly.

Good value for price.

Our children are now scattered from Lincoln NE to Iowa City IA so we decided to meet in a somewhat central location to celebrate the holidays. This home is nicely kept. Has 4 beds plus 2 large sectionals. The owner was very responsive.
