Peaceful ranch home within minutes of downtown Frankfort and lake Michigan public beach. Three full bedrooms with queen beds upstairs. Finished room downstairs can also be used as a bedroom with bunk bed along with a with walkout. Easily sleeps 6 or 8 with use of basement room.

Large secluded back yard with spacious deck, propane grill and deck furniture for you to grill your favorite fresh caught fish from lake Michigan.

Frankfort family vacation

What a wonderful place to stay. So many amenities and beautiful yard with fire pit for relaxing at night after hiking. The location was perfect for waking downtown and close to so many other prime sites within the area like Sleeping Bear and Arcadia. Will definitely plan to stay here again..

Great family spot

We had a great week in Frankfort. The house was a great home base for two families with 4 kids around. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, the comfortable deck and spacious yard, and the ease of getting from the house to the various attractions in the area.

Great Place to Relax

Overall the place was wonderful. We stayed only a few days but managed to see the downtown and the lake. The restaurants were good. The house was very well equipped with ample dishes, linens, places to sit and relax, comfortable beds, and quiet atmosphere. The only suggestion I have is since there is no dishwasher, you need a silverware attachment on the drainer.

Lovely Tranquil Home

Home away from home!

We love Frankfort and we love this vacation home! It is a cozy home stocked with everything you need! Beautifully decorated and very clean. It has a spacious backyard and is in close driving distance to the town/beach. The host is wonderful! I would definitely recommend this home to rent!

Super comfy home!

My family of 4 adults and two small children were very comfortable in this house! My 3 year old loved the bunk beds in the basement! The house is decorated super cute and has nice bedding and towels. It is just a few minutes drive to Lake Michigan and the cute little town area. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!!

Great Summer Getaway!

The house was perfect for my family! It was clean and cozy! It had a big backyard and deck too! It was in a quiet spot in the town. The house was a short drive to the beach and the town. Absolutely Perfect

The house was inviting, the location outstanding, and the host was the most responsive of any I’ve ever encountered. My family and I felt welcomed. The house is a short walk from Frankfort Beach and the area is wooded and there was a family of deer that visited morning and eve. Quiet and calm neighborhood. Couldn’t have asked for a better location.

Very Clean House!

We've stayed in many VRBO rentals and this is by far the cleanest one we've found. The furniture is comfortable and the unique wall decorations/artwork makes for a pleasant place to relax. We added a basketball so our granddaughter could practice her skills and those of future renters. We LOVE Frankfort!

Perfect place!

We are a family of 7 adults and we were 100% satisfied with our stay here. As soon as we arrived we knew we wanted to book it again next year. Every inch of this home is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is stocked with quality cookware and it was a pleasure cooking family meals. We also used the grill and ate outside on the nice deck. The inside of the home is so comfortable with plenty of seating for everyone. The beds are comfortable too. The neighborhood is just lovely. It’s a short walk to downtown where you can shop, get bagels, coffee, dinner etc. Gail, the host, is very responsive and easy to communicate with. I can’t say enough good things. This home deserves more than 5 stars.

Awesome house!

This is a wonderful, clean, well-stocked home. The game room in the basement is awesome and the location is good as well! Having three bathrooms for large groups is very convenient. The owner was very helpful with suggesting things to do and responding to communication quickly. My only suggestion is to take better pictures for the property page to better show the highlights. Would definitely recommend!

Family Wedding

There was four of us, from Southeast Michigan, and four from San Antonio, Texas. We came to Frankfort to attend a family members wedding. The house suited us just fine. The living room and dining area was large enough for all of us to enjoy each other’s company. I don’t think we could have picked a better house. There may have been people that stayed in that house prior to us and enjoyed it, but they couldn’t have enjoyed it more than we did. We had so much fun, we laughed a lot. We made so many wonderful memories there. We also enjoyed the outside around the house especially the back area. Behind the house are trees, we saw deers, rabbits, and squirrels. One day we saw a mama deer with two of her babies. Six of us live in the city, so that was a treat for us. There’s a nice deck that can accommodate a lot of people. There’s also a grill outside that we took advantage of. I would definitely recommend this house.

Comfortable, convenient, and clean

We had a great time in Frankfort. Gail’s house was a great place to return to after our outings, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes, fishing, and biking. The Betsie Valley Trail (trail is paved from Frankfort to Crystal Lake) is a short 0.8 miles south and highly recommended. We also biked to the Miami Street Frankfort Beach access (less than 1 mile away, bike rack available) and enjoyed jumping off the pier…lots of beach here with plenty of room to spread out. Gail was quick to respond to texts, though we didn’t need much during our stay.

Great spot for family vacation.

This property worked so well for our family reunion. 2 separate families fit perfectly (total 8 people). The backyard space was great for outdoor dinners and the space in the basement provided an extra area for the kids to spread out. Close to the beach, could walk, but we mostly drove/rode bikes. Would highly recommend.
