Country charm in the city

Enjoy a relaxing weekend or weeknight staycation at our newly renovated and farmhouse chic vacation rental. This two bedroom and one and a half bath house is located with easy access to two major highways (281 & 1604) and plenty of amenities including grocery stores, shopping, a movie theater, ice skating, miniature golf and more! In a quiet established neighborhood lined with large oak trees, you and your loved ones can relax and enjoy a nature walk in the neighborhood park, play a round of tennis or even shoot some hoops. There are scenic views which often include loving neighborhood deer grazing in the nearby lawns. From the 280 sq. ft. air conditioned screen porch, you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee and bird watch or relax with a glass of wine following a day out and about in the lovely San Antonio and surrounding hill country.

The property is located 6.4 miles (10 minute drive) from the San Antonio International Airport, and 14 miles from downtown San Antonio (20 minute drive) which boasts many attractions such as the river walk, Alamo, Pearl district and nearby San Antonio Zoo, gardens and museums. To the west, you can visit Fiesta Texas (11 miles), La Cantera Shopping Mall, and Sea World (23 miles).

What's not to like about this house! Lovely house in a lovely neighborhood with deer roaming the neighborhood! My dogs appreciated the oversized yard and room to roam in the house. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit to San Antonio!

Awesome for a family

We sadly got in later than planned on our first day but being greeted by all the deer in the neighborhood was so much fun! We LOVED seeing them everywhere. The house was perfect for our little family we spent most of our day out and about and it’s easily located to get around. Very much saved this listing for our next trip to SA!

Great stay

This was a great spot. The house was super cute and the neighborhood was charming. Very close to shops, an HEB and restaurants. We were able to easily get to Sea world (25 minites), the Alamo/riverwalk (15 minutes) and Fiesta Texas (15 minutes). Big bacyard for our dog to play fetch in.

Great location, safe, cozy

2nd time booking this place. I stayed last year and this year had guests in town and put them here. Being able to park in the garage is a huge plus. Location is central, super safe. Host is responsive and the house is cozy and guests slept great. Will stay again in the future and will keep it in mind for my future guests when we need more room.

Drop off

Stayed at home to drop off daughter at UTSA and enjoy the city for a few days. Location was very convenient to entire city, variety of stores around home was perfect. Communication with owner was super easy and prompt. Backyard was excellent for our little poodle and relaxing, deer thoughout the area were so friendly and added to the enjoyment of our stay. Plan on staying at this location in the future!

Homecoming weekend

We were in town for homecoming weekend at UTSA to see my daughter cheer at the game. Really lovely stay at a really lovely place. Everything was as described. Really enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard. The location was really convenient to UTSA and the Alamodome.If I were a knitpicker, it would be that the water didn't get quite as hot as we like. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our home away from home

This is a very warm and welcoming property. We were there for 10 days dealing with some family business, and it was nice to feel like we had a true home away from home. It was convenient to lots of restaurants/grocery/etc, but also in a quiet neighborhood -- with lots of neighborhood deer :-) We had some plumbing questions/issues early on, but the owners were super quick about getting them addressed, and it was a treat to meet them and learn about the history of the home. We will definitely look to stay again when we return to San Antonio!

Great house. Perfect for our stay

I love so many things! The house had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable. Almost like home. Nice neighborhood and close to where we were visiting. We went to the Riverwalk and Morgans Wonderland. And it was too cool to see all the deer in the neighborhood. Just hanging out in the front yards. The only con was the water pressure in the kitchen sink. But it was not a deal breaker as everything else was awesome including the price. I would stay there again.

Safe location & loved the yard

I have lived in the area for years and just moved away. This is close to many things, easy access to other areas of SA. I felt safe and enjoyed walking my dog and running in the neighborhood. Loved the backyard and the calm deer grazing. The sun room and kitchen, & yard were cozy and where I spent most of my time. Great communication with host. I even got to pick my own security entry code. I hope to stay here again when I visit. Oh, had my pittie with me and we had a great time. Perfect location for us.

Clean, comfortable, perfect location. Only 10 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to church, and 10 minutes to our kid’s house. Multiple deer visited nearly every day. Nice, wooded area, so close to freeway but couldn’t hear a thing, maybe because of the oak trees?

Way better than I expected. Pictures doesn't do it justice. Bigger than I thought. Clean. Great neighborhood. Personalized welcome board was waiting for us. Owner is phone call away if needed and reponsive. Very classy. Had code to get in (check in), no intrusive owner in anyway like some places. Everything about this stay, can't say enough. Peaceful, dogs loved the yard. I'd 100% rent again.
