This was the perfect little spot for our Smoky Mountain vacation. It was right by downtown Bryson City, as well as the Deep Creek entrance to the National Park. Comfortable beds, full sized fridge and plenty of space. Great place to rest after long days of hiking!
We came for the weekend to ride the polar express train and this property was in the perfect location for that. A short 5 minute ride and you’re right in the heart of Bryson city. Property was quiet and clean. Would definitely stay here again

Very nice property. Easy check in and directions. Clean house plenty of space. The four of us had a great time in the city and the accommodations of this listing were fantastic
The apartment was clean and spacious and we felt very safe. I think it is a great value. The host gave great check in / check out instructions and detailed info about the property which I appreciated
This is the second time we have stayed here and loved it! Place is very clean, beds comfortable, great, easy to access location. Loved the way the place is laid out. It gave my 17 year old her bedroom and shower and us ours. Host great to work with! Very affordable and lot for your money! Will definitely be back!
We were a group of motorcyclists from Quebec (Canada) and we rented the house for 4 nights. The house was perfectly located for the rides we had planned in the area (Tail of the Dragon, Waya Rd, Moonshiner 28, etc.). The house is located less than 5 minutes from downtown Bryson City where we could find all the useful businesses. Communication with the owner was easy and he responded to all our requests quickly. The only negative point was that we should have had access to a washer and dryer, since we were there for 4 nights.
Everything was as described and we found everything that we needed! I enjoyed this property. I think my favorite part was sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch enjoying a quiet spring night. By day a neighbor's rooster crows, not close enough to be annoying. Good property, I would have liked to stay longer
Bigger then expected. Very clean. Convenient location for tubing, kayaking, rafting and downtown Bryson City. Very responsive host who went out of his way to fulfill a special need for my husband to allow him to sleep comfortably. Would stay again. A bargain.

Great location. Property is clean. We had 4 people. We misread the description thinking each bedroom had a king and a daybed. In reality each room had a king, but the daybeds were in the living room. We ended up doubling up in the kings. All worked out for us, but be aware.
It did not affect our stay at all!
Roomy 2 bedroom apartment close to downtown Bryson City. Quirky layout but with 2 king sized beds and 2 twin beds in the living room, it suited our basic needs. The beds were very soft memory foam. If you need a firm mattress, this is not the place. Cleanliness was lacking as the bedding and towels were musty smelling with stains on the mattress covers and dust bunnies were plentiful. Neither toilets had privacy as one has weird accordion doors one of which was broken and the other toilet's door does not close and latch so privacy was very much lacking. We didn't cook or use dishes. The place worked space wise for us and was about a 20 minute drive from NOC, since whitewater rafting and kayaking was the purpose of this trip. If you want budget lodging with space, this is a good option. The host was helpful and responsive.
There were no surprises. Everything that we were told was spot on. Everything was described perfectly. It was very reasonably priced. The place was very inviting and had everything you would need. We would stay here again without any hesitation.
This property is exactly as advertised. Josh has lovingly created wooden furniture and tables for this home. Kitchen pans and utensils were plentiful and we had plenty of towels and wash cloths also. Josh was always very prompt in communication which we always appreciate.
We often visit the National Park but had never stayed on the North Carolina side. The location is perfect - a short easy drive to the park entrance. It is also very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. And of course the train is in Bryson City. We also discovered a wonderful bakery and pizza in town. We are glad that we chose to stay here!
This was a very cozy and clean place. We enjoyed our stay.
Check in was great and check out instructions were very clear. The only thing we thought it was on Deep Creek but you couldn't walk to the creek from the property but it wasn't a big deal. Very close to Bryson City without being in the city.
We have stayed in the middle Deep Creek apartment and it is amazing. This weekend we stayed in the large apartment with another couple. The property is clean and comfortable. The only thing I would note is that the full bath is between the bedrooms and shared. We felt that this reduced the amount of privacy for both couples but we didn’t have any issues. Josh is a terrific host and I highly recommend staying in one of his apartments for your visit to Bryson City. This property will be our top pick for all of our trips to the area. Thank you Josh!
Plenty of room for our family. (4 total). Property was comfortable and had everything you needed. Just bring your toiletries and own coffee etc. Plenty of dishes and pots/pans to cook with. Only issue was front porch light is on all night and shines through the French doors. If you have to use the day bed or sofa bed maybe ask about the porch light bring turned off. Property had a second unit and neighbors came in at 1:30 am slamming doors. Not owners fault just disrespectful guest. All in all would visit again!
