The spacious 3 level rustic lodge setting is located on the protected private waters of Davis Creek offering year around, “Emerald” water front! The lodge is built with a gentle slopping walk to the lake. Gather around the camp fire and connect with those bonding stories of yesterday for some good old fashion fun! Make a wish before jumping off the two-level, double Decker, covered, boat dock, into Emerald magical green waters. This 5500 sq foot home plus 2400 sq foot covered deck can accommodate 36 people.

Place was clean and very large. We had plenty of room for 9 couples and 4 singles. Having the dock area is nice. We rented a boat and kept it there overnight. You will need to bring ice to put in the downstairs freezer. The ice machine down there does not work. You can DoorDash ice to the house, but it’s a hassle because it’s expensive and the courier cannot find it. The kitchen upstairs has 2 of everything except refrigerators, which would definitely help the lack of ice situation as well. Very comfortable beds. Some of our guests did not bring toilet paper. Make sure they do because it’s a fight waiting to happen. We door dashed that too. It’s a wonderful place and we had a great time. Played a little ping pong, got in the hot tub, watched a movie downstairs. The air hockey didn’t work too well, but that’s ok. Plenty of other stuff to do. Host got back to us when we had questions. Make sure you immediately connect to the WiFi because cell service is rare down there. We had a wonderful time. Norris lake is beautiful.

I house was great the host was great. The property had plenty of dishes and oversized pots and pans. The blackstone flat top was an added bonus. The lake was wonderful. The movie theater was a lot of fun, I think the kids watched a movie every night. We would definitely stay here again.

Family annual trip!

The stay was wonderful but that entrance to the house is super scary. Extra parking spot is in a very dangerous spot in my opinion. If you stay here be careful when parking and pulling out.

Dana and I live in Pickerington, Ohio and have four children and six grandchildren. I am retired from the telecommunications industry where I was an engineer for 33 years. My wife Dana is a successful real estate agent in the Central Ohio area. We love walking, biking, skiing, boating and traveling.

Why they chose this property

We have been vacationing at Norris Lake for over 10 years with our family and friend groups and fell in love with the deep, clean emerald waters of Tennessee. We wanted to rent a home for our large family and found how difficult it was to find a place to rent. The large rental homes were booked one year in advance so we decided to build our own.

What makes this property unique

We love this location because of the private, protected, calm cove waters, perfect for swimming off the dock, in year-around deep, clean beautiful water. The home is built as close to the lake as the TVA allows which offers a gentle slope from the house to the lake. We have added the following to our home: A Theater Room (to attract people outside of the swimming and boating season), a Double Decker covered 2 slip boat dock and Fire pit area. We hope you will enjoy this as much as we have.
