The location was great for this property. The house itself could use some maintenance. Overall, we had a good stay but probably wasnt good enough to make us want to come back.

Great Thanksgiving

My family spent the weekend at this cabin to celebrate our Thanksgiving. The kids had a blast in the hot tub, singing karaoke in the living room, making ornaments at the huge kitchen table, roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, and eating Miguel’s pizza while watching football on Sunday! We will definitely return!

Wonderful family long weekend trip!

We had such a fantastic time! We spent a long weekend there with our girls, ages 15, 13, and 11. So much to do in the area. The house was great - easy to get to and comfortable all around We’d absolutely recommend it and would return.

girls weekend

the cabin is located in great area, beautiful and very comfortable.it was my girlfriends and we pic a different spot every year to have girls only weekendit was clean and had everything we needed.few things to mention, the pics show a wood stove in the main living area, it is not useable, officially closed off.we had an issue getting the main tv to work. , tried everything and did talk to the hosts.even talking to them we could not get any signal or input would help.no worries we just wanted to catch up on the news.other tvs in bedrooms worked.last thing the road is a ‘thing’ as other reviews had mentioned, just be prepared if bad weather is predicted.overall is was nice for us

Lovely cabin

Great location in for access to hiking trails and several attractions and restaurants within 20 min. Cabin is clean and offers beautiful views. There are cabins close by, but you feel like you have the view to yourself. Fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Plenty of seating and beds for 4 adults comfortably. Nice place to stay!

Great property and location!

We would definitely rent this cabin again. Check in was seamless and property was just as described. Lots of room both indoor & outside! Only minor concern was high amount of chlorine in hot tub. Overall, perfect spot for a getaway!

Yearly RRG trip

Robins Nest has a convenient location, about as close to Nada Tunnel as you will find. It has a great layout for two families and we very much enjoyed our stay. The driveway is no joke. 4WD is a good idea especially if roads could be slick.

Great Weekend Away

We found the cabin to be overall great. Everything was clean and everything we needed was there. We had a great weekend, this cabin is right in the center of the activities we wanted to do. The driveway is a 16 degree grade but was not problem and actually added to the adventure. Hot tub was clean, wood for the fire pit, TV with plently of channels, great internet and cell service. We would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

This cabin was a wonderful place to stay. It was just my other half and me, so we didn't need the extra bedrooms, but the space was nice. It was very clean and had all amenities needed for our weekend. I did pick up a couple things and left them - foil & ziplocks, for storage. I was a little nervous about the steep road and very steep driveway, but our SUV had no problem. I would gladly stay at Robin's Nest again!

Great location!

We had a great stay at Robin’s nest. We did have a problem upon check in but it was resolved completely and immediately! The location was great for all the activities. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have some basic kitchen supplies such as salt, pepper, cooking spray and even coffee! The cabin is very spacious and the deck is huge. We will be back!

Do not stay here. Property not what is shown.

They will try and make you pay for damages to their property that aren’t yours and existed prior. Assumptive and rude hosts. Stay somewhere else in The Gorge and save yourself the hassle. Property is up a very long and hard to navigate road. There is no yard. There is no view. Neighbors are right next to you. Lack of seclusion.

A week in the woods

Overall our stay was comfortable and clean. There were a few things that need a bit of attention. The downstairs shower handle fell off first time using the shower. Kitchen sink and upstairs tub slow draining. Head of bed upstairs on one side wasn’t touching the floor, therefore dipped quite a bit when getting in and out of bed. Ceiling fan in bunk room was grinding so couldn’t be used. (Also nails hanging out of the walls in there...easy to catch things on. Unfortunately the pans for cooking left much to be desired. Overall the place was nice and we would stay again. Just these few things needed fixing.

Good location, cabin has some issues

This cabin is in a neat area very close to hiking trails. Pros include it is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, nice size living room and great hot tub off the deck. Unfortunately when we checked in we immediately noticed the mouse droppings in the kitchen (in lower cabinets and in oven drawer). Upon reading the info brochure for guests, it clearly states that pests will be seen from time to time. On our last day a fairly large mouse was running around the hallway and living area. I recognize it’s the woods and this can happen anytime you are staying somewhere wooded, but it appeared to us to be a larger problem given the warning at check in and amount of droppings. Renters should just be aware of this and we would have appreciated a heads up prior to coming. Otherwise cabin is nice and well set up.

A stormy night in Robins Nest Cabin

Upon arrival at our cabin, March 2023. We had a terrible storm with high winds. As we entered the cabin it was quite chilly. The thermostat read 64 degrees. When we turned on the smart thermostat it stated that it would be 2+ hours to heat up to 75 degrees. So, as we waited a nice wood stove sit in the corner of the dining area. We thought this would be a good way to heat up the cabin. However, the owners kept it locked up so no one could use it. The cabin was very nice and well equipped with amenities. Other than minimal amount of towels and bed covering. The master bedroom is in the loft area above the living room. Normal sounds from conversation, tv, and very squeaky wooden floor, made it impossible to sleep. Next day, electricity was out due to high winds hitting a transformer. I notified owner at approx. 12:35 pm and advised her of the situation. She said that she would have husband call me. No one every called me back. We decided to pack up and leave. I was concerned about closing up the cabin, with no electric and letting them know that we were unable to complete closing procedure. The cabin would be more accommodating for a couple or small family, due to noise level. The driveway is extremely steep and I recommend 4 wheel drive. . The cabin was clean, well equipped and as advertised. I just wish the owners would have answered their phones. Some guests try to be good renters!!

Urine smell

We are not ones to complain or to leave a negative review. This cabin upon the drive way was beautiful. We were so excited to enter our little getaway cabin. This cabin is listed as no pets aloud, we always rent pet Free homes. Upon entering the screened in porch was black dog hair all over the furniture. When we entered the cabin the smell of urine hit us all in the face! So we opened the doors to let it air out some. We are considered a bigger family with 6 so having a washer and dryer is a must! The kids were all excited to get settled in, only to find out that the bunk beds had no linens. We tried calling the housekeeping number that was left on the living room table in the information binder for her to say she had not been servicing that cabin for 3 years. Tried calling the owner with no answer, finally messaged through VRBO and got a call back for them to tell us that the dryer quit working and that the house keeper would be back later in the day to make the beds, and bring towels (which smelled soured)Then told us there is a leak in the upstairs toilet. upon inspecting it,it was a pretty good leak, as the next morning water had ran into the middle of the upstairs bathroom floor. We were refunded the cleaning fee and$100 because we could not stay the entire length because of the smell. The information binder needs to be updated. Read not to turn down AC past 74 or it would freeze up and we would be charged to fix it. Cabin has good views but the smell of pee overtook it
