Luxury villa with swimming pool in a quiet and wild environment

Magnificent villa of charm and standing in a quiet environment, served by a private driveway (no road near the house), located 500 m from the daily market and 900 m from the sea and the port of Saint-Denis. The villa is decorated with great care and can comfortably accommodate 8 people. It is very bright with many relaxation areas inside and outside. The garden of 30 acres is planted with trees (palm trees, olive trees, tamarisk, etc.) and completely enclosed (electric gate).
The garden is decorated with a swimming pool of 4 x 8.5 meters with a progressive staircase and a bench for children. Deckchairs are available by the pool. A rattan outdoor lounge is installed under the outdoor terrace.
It is the ideal place for a very nice family holiday in complete peace of mind!
Cleaning, sheets and household linen are not included, possible option.
Price excluding tourist tax of €1.5/day

We spend a lovely week here. The villa is exactly as shown in the pictures, very spacious, nicely decorated, very well equiped and the garden and pool are just perfect. We rented bikes and used them daily to go into town or to the beach. Alignments and check-in/departure with Franck went all very smooth and Franck showed us everything we needed to know upon our arrival. Also he was very flexible in arrival and departure organisation. All-in all a perfect stay and we would return anytime.

Very nice house with beautiful garden

Nice and spacious house with a very large and beautiful garden. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect for a stay with a large family enough place for at least 6 persons. House is located in a very quiet area, center of St. Denis can be reached within 5 minutes by bike.

Super relaxing holiday

We had a lovely stay at Les Grosseilleres. The house was lovely and very well equipped. The outside spaces were super and you could find sun or shade, depending on what you wanted all day long. We spent a lot of time in the pool which was lovely and warm so we could spend lots of time in there even when it was a little cold and windy on the outside! Bikes were easy to rent in Saint-Denis harbour and made for a fun day out. Don’t miss sunset at Phare de Chassiron (lighthouse), we spent a quite a few evenings watching the sun set over the sea. All in all a truly lovely holiday. Merci beaucoup and a bientot.

Lovely house with pretty blue shutters and a great pool. The location is quiet, not really 'wild' as per the title but on the edge of town. Kitchen has everything you need and there's a lovely outdoor eating area that we used multiple times a day. The tiny lizards love basking on the dark wooden decking. Comfy beds. We hired bikes and cycled to the markets and beaches which was lovely, it's quite slow going driving around the island because of all the bikes so leave your car if you can! It's just 10 minutes cycle to the town which has a great daily market with loads of fresh produce as well as touristy bits and bobs. Arrive early to miss the boulangerie queue! Wonderful cycle tracks to beaches, lighthouse and different towns. A few downsides...not enough hot water for 7 of us staying, don't be the last in the shower when you get back from the beach or it's freezing! House not very clean, I guess that's the down side of the tenants always choosing to do their own cleaning to save 150 euros, needs a regular cleaner who knows the house. Some parts dusty/cobwebs/not had a good scrub for a while. We definitely left it cleaner than when we arrived! Upstairs pull out bed broken (ALL screws missing!). 15 euros gets you two sheets, one pillow case, large and small white towels, and 2 tea towels for 7 of us. You still need to bring your beach towels. Overall we had a wonderful stay :-)

Une maison de vacances tres fonctionnelle, l'organisation de la maison autour de la piscine est tres agréable, nous y avons passé une excellente semaine avec nos 3 enfants. La maison est tres bien située, sur un grand terrain tres boisé et joliment arboré,a proximité de st Denis (10min a pieds) et a proximité des pistes cyclables et des côtes (15 min a pieds).

Très bel endroit et très belle maison

Le seul bémol est l'éloignement de la mer et de la plage qui n'est pas à 900 mètres mais à deux kilomètres de la maison. Mais sinon c'est vraiment une maison magnifique.

We have just come back from staying at this property. Frank the manager was lovely and very helpful. The property is amazing and much better than expected. It is beautifully furnished, very comfortable with a great swimming pool and captures the feeling of a top class holiday home on a beautiful island.
