The Oléron Parenthesis*** Charming House, Private Pool, Grand-Village-Beach

Charming house with its private swimming pool . 2 to 6 persons, a first bedroom: bed 140, plus a large room: a bed 160 and a nest bed (2x90). Bathroom with shower. Living room with kitchen corner. Careful decoration. Fireplace. Preferred location. On fully enclosed land: it is possible to return the vehicle. Two terraces for maximum sunshine. Quiet. At the foot of the forest and cycle paths and close to shops. Beach by a pleasant pedestrian (or bicycle) path through the forest. All comforts: a foldable cot, barbecue, microwave, washing machine, TV, board games, outdoor furniture, end-of-stay cleaning (EUR 100) and possibility of renting household linen and extra cot. Animals welcome.

The swimming pool is according to the 1st May to the end of September SOUND MEEO

Nice stay

We had a good stay at the property. The house is a bit out dated and has no wifi. Needs a bit of refurbishment. We had an issue with the dishwasher which was solved quickly by the owner. The garden and swimming pool is fantastic. Location also very good. We loved the island. So many lovely beaches and little towns.

Maison agréable et au calme; cependant, il faut bien noter qu'il n'y a pas de wifi, le téléphone ne passe pas ou très mal... donc l'accès au réseau est compliqué... il persiste une odeur de chien mouillé qui s'est fortement imprégnée dans le canapé. Enfin, attention le linge de lit et de toilette est en supplément !! Soit on voyage avec ses housses de couette et serviettes de toilette soit on paye un supplément de 20 à 25 par personne.

" Le Havre de Paix

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, au calme.Accueil très sympathique de la part d 'Elsa malgré notre retard conséquent.La maison et le jardin sont décorés avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine privative est très appréciable. Tout est fonctionnel et très propre.

Schönes Haus, sehr privat, tolle Terrasse & Pool

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dem Haus verbracht. Haus, Pool und Garten sind toll und wie beschrieben. Unser Hund konnte sich auf dem komplett geschlossenem Grundstück frei bewegen. Der Kontakt und der Empfang waren super unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank nochmal. Das Haus liegt ruhig in 2. Reihe und bietet auch von der Lage her, alles, was man braucht. Nähe zum Strand und Radwegen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, u.s.w. Das Einzige, was wir teilweise als wirklich störend empfunden haben, war eine recht nah gelegene Kläranlage, die im Wald gegenüber liegt. Man sieht die gar nicht, aber man riecht sie. Nicht immer, aber je nach Wetter, Wind und Aktivität doch manchmal deutlich. Das finden wir für ein Haus in der Lage und Preisklasse als zwingend erwähnenswert im Inserat... und deshalb gibt es auch nicht die "alle Sterne". Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Nous avons un très bon séjour dans une maison au calme et où tout le confort est présent avec une très belle piscine au sel bien chauffée. L'océan est à 1,2 km facilement accessible via une piste cyclable. De très belles vacances!!!

Nous avons été totalement déçu ! Premièrement le jour avant notre arrivée, nous avons fait un message pour prévenir de +/- l'heure d'arrivée, la personne n'était pas au courant de la réservation ! Deuxièmement, nous sommes arrivés, aucun accueil les clés se trouvaient dans un boitier. Ensuite dès l'ouverture nous avons déchanté !! la maison était dégueulasse nous avons même été racheter des assiettes, couverts, etc ! Nous avons du procéder à un nettoyage totale dès notre arrivée après 8h de route SUPER ! Ensuite la piscine n'était pas chauffée nous n'avons presque pas été dedans ... Un soir il pleuvait sur l'île et surprise il pleuvait également à l'intérieur ! Pour terminer, nous sommes partis plus tôt et nous avons du encore payé le nettoyage ! LA BLAGUE ! Nous gardons un très mauvais souvenir des nos vacances !

Plutôt agréable

La maison a de vrais atouts: ses deux terrasses, la piscine est superbe, le terrain est clos et elle est très bien équipée. Dommage que la maison n’est pas été nickel (nous avons trouvé pas loin de 5/6 araignées, des toiles et nous avons dû relaver les tables intérieures et extérieures). La déconvenue c’est une maison en construction sur la gauche du terrain, qui nous a occasionné quelques nuisances sonores mais qui heureusement n’ont pas duré…

Gorgeous

Beautiful location, we had such a lovely time. The pool is excellent and we made full use of it during our stay. Property is exactly as described, extremely comfortable and well equipped. We know the La palmyre region well and the fire was an excellent location to this area, beaches are beautiful, so close and we really enjoyed exploring the island by bike. Thank you to fanny for her corespondence she was on hand to answer any questions we may have despite our lack of French speaking. Would totally recommend to anyone . Thank u

Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen, zu Fuß benötigt man ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten zum Strand. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich auch in der Umgebung (großer Supermarkt ca. 5 km entfernt) Das Haus an sich ist schön,die Endreinigung könnte aber sorgfältiger sein. Der Pool wurde einmal in 2 Wochen gereinigt. Auf jeden Fall etwas gegen Fliegen mitnehmen,diese waren in Massen vorhanden und sehr nervig. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt,also perfekt wenn man mit dem Hund verreist

Toujours sous le charme...

Un second séjour à la Parenthèse, dans cette maison pleine de charme que nous avons retrouvée avec plaisir cette année. Sa situation dans ce bel environnement aux milieux diversifiés ( forêt, marais, plage), le calme environnant, la quiétude, les chants d’oiseaux dont celui de l’Engoulevent au crépuscule...sans oublier les plaisirs de la baignade dans la piscine, et des hôtes attentifs, même à distance, à votre bien être, font que nous l’avons quittée avec regret ...

Un parenthèse que l’on a du mal à refermer

Un séjour très agréable dans cette maison au calme qui nous invite de par son exposition au soleil à profiter un maximum de la piscine. Les pistes cyclables à proximité offre un point de départ à de nombreuses randonnées. La plage accessible à pied ou à quelques coups de pédales m’a permis de pratiquer un peu de bodyboard. Le jardin clos est très appréciable pour mes chats qui ont pu profiter des vacances. L’aménagement de la maison est accueillant. Je n’arrive pas à fermer cette parenthèse car l’envie de rester ou de revenir est intense.

Une parenthèse très appréciée ...

Une maison bien agréable à vivre, idéalement située à l’orée de la forêt et à proximité de l'océan. Clos de murs, le jardin et la terrasse étaient très sécurisants pour nos compagnons à quatre pattes, et la piscine chauffée a été appréciée. Et que d’oiseaux à écouter, à observer...bref un très bon séjour !
