Quiet, rural location on the outskirts of calheta, with the car you have the next largest Village of Calheta reached in just 5 minutes. Here you will find a selection of restaurants and bars, as well as the yellow sand beach and many shops. Ideal starting point for hiking and mountain hiking to the nearby Levada Nova and Paul da Serra. The capital Funchal is reached in 20 minutes.

Nice place, nice views

Für eine entspannte Woche mit Meerblick eine Top-Wahl. Schönes Haus, das – für madeirensische Verhältnisse – sehr entspannt zu erreichen ist. Nur die letzten 15 Meter sind abenteuerlich steil, so dass wir uns die Garage gespart haben und lieber bequem an der Straße geparkt haben. Das Haus ist vollumfänglich ausgestattet – bis zum Bügeleisen. Der Blick von allen drei Terrassen ist atemberaubend. Bei Vollauslastung aller Betten dürfte es um den Pool herum allerdings recht eng werden. Wer jeden Tag selber kochen möchte, sollte vielleicht vor Buchung auf die Anschaffung neuer Pfannen drängen. Wir haben einfach die von Jorge empfohlenen Restaurants genossen und waren mehr als glücklich! Als Ausgangspunkt ist der Standort ideal: Supermarkt in sieben Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, zur vertunnelten Schnellstraße geht's noch schneller und auch auf die Hochebene führen zwei Straßen von Calheta aus. Insgesamt hat es uns supergut gefallen, für uns war es das vierte Mal auf Madeira. Das Haus würden wir jederzeit wieder mieten.

Tolle Lage

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse. Die Aussicht von Terrasse oder Balkon ist großartig. Man kann zu Fuß gute Restaurants am kleinen Yachthafen erreichen und sich danach beim Rückweg das Essen etwas abtrainieren. Von mal zu mal wird man hier schneller. Alternativ gibt es unten aber auch ein geräumiges Parkhaus. Das Haus ist geräumig und sauber. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Kommunikation mit Jorge war einwandfrei. Klare Empfehlung.

Villa qu'on rêverait de posséder

Dans les hauteurs de Calheta, au calme, une spacieuse maison avec piscine vous attend. Bien sûr il faut une voiture quoique l'accès en ville soit possible à pied (un vrai effort de 15 minutes). La vue est exceptionnelle et un très bon point de départ pour visiter l'ouest de Madère. La maison est très bien équipée et il y a un fond d'épicerie appréciable. Dédiée à la location, la maison est un peu abîmée par endroits mais c'est minime. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et apprécié les conseils de Jorge.
