The house 'Sun and Moon', is located in the West of Madeira Island, in a pleasant area Arco da Calheta. Between the Mountain and the sea, with a frontosa landscape, has private garage, gardens with private pool and equipped barbeque. Inside it has 2 bedrooms with private bathroom, air conditioning in the rooms with balcony to the outside equipped with bed linen and bath towels has central heating with wood burning and dining room has wall heating. On the 1st Floor a nice terrace. Wi-Fi, local cable V. MEO. We have a game table with games available.
Heated pool from November to April. The accommodation is equipped with bed linen and bath so that your stay and choice is unforgettable. Children are the responsibility of the Parents.

We loved our stay at Cristina's amazing house. The location was beautiful, with a spotless kitchen, garden, pool and moreover gorgeous views of the ocean and Calheta. Cristina was above and beyond an incredible host. She was so generous with food, supporting us when our luggage was lost and overall a beautiful person.

Perfect house and garden! Superb hospitality by the owner, Cristina, who surprised us with a an excellent lunch on the day of arrival and a well prepared dinner during the week. Never experienced this earlier. We felt welcome and at home from the first moment we arrived.

In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt.Das Haus liegt an einem Hang und hat Sonne von morgens bis abends mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer.Sarah und Dora waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar.Sie haben uns am ersten Abend sehr freundlich begrüßt und uns ein leckeres Abendessen gekocht. Wie bereits von anderen Gästen erwähnt, war der Empfang toll und wir wurden wir mit einem tollen Essen empfangen. Wenn man erst 18 Uhr ankommt ist es toll nicht erst einkaufen zu müssen.Das Haus ist riesig und wunderschön eingerichtet. Es gab allein 3 verschiedene Outdoor Sitzgelegenheiten. Es war unüblich kühl in Madeira, aber der Kamin und die AC Einheit im Schlafzimmer haben die Zimmer angenehm warm gehalten. Das Outdoor BBQ Haus haben wir geliebt und leckeren Fisch/Espetada gegrillt und beim Essen die tolle Assicht/Sonnenuntergang genossen. Der BBQ Grill zieht super (Kohle und Holz sind vorhanden) und die Austattung von der Küche und BBQ Bereich ist herausragend (inkl. Gewürze).Wie geschrieben war es für Madeira sehr kühl (18 Grad), aber den Pool konnten wir dennoch jeden Tag geniesen. Einfach großartig.Ganz toll war auch das Bett im Hauptschlaffzimmer, denn die Matratze war richtig angenehm. Das ist leider nicht selbstverständlich in Madeira.Von daher ein rundum toller Urlaub. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus! Das Haus ist groß, sehr gepflegt und wunderschön eingerichtet. Besonders die traumhafte Aussicht, die riesige Terrasse und der tolle Pool haben uns begeistert. Alles war super sauber.Ein Highlight gleich am ersten Abend: die Haussitterin hatte für uns gekocht, einfach perfekt nach der langen Anreise. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, außerdem gab es sogar 2–3 Mal einen Putzservice während unseres Aufenthalts (ein echter Luxus!).Das Haus liegt etwas oberhalb des Ortes an einer steilen Straße, die aber gut befahrbar ist. Mit dem Auto erreicht man alles schnell und unkompliziert.Die zwei Schlafzimmer befinden sich auf unterschiedlichen Etagen. Ein Punkt, den man je nach Reisegruppe berücksichtigen sollte.Auch die Außenküche war fantastisch: bestens ausgestattet, sehr sauber und mit gekühlten Getränken gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis. Perfekt für gemütliche Abende mit Blick auf die Landschaft. Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt und noch nie so toll gewohnt. Absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus für langen Aufenthalt geeignet

Die Kommunikation mit Cristina ist hier hervorzuheben. Es war so, dass unsere Flug erheblich verspätet war, Cristina hat mich jedoch mehrfach beruhigt und geschrieben, dass ich mir keine Sorgen machen muss. Dora, die Haushälterin, war dann am nächsten Tag, auch zeitig am Morgen da und hat uns herzlich empfangen, komplett, aber auch nicht nervig eingewiesen und hat uns dann auch noch ein Willkommensmenü gezaubert. Das war alles super nett. Dass Haus ist sehr geräumig und vor allem, wie bei uns, für Eltern mit älteren Kindern Kindern perfekt geeignet. Mit kleinen Kindern vielleicht eher nicht, da der Pool frei zugänglich ist. Madeira an sich ist auch eher nicht mit kleinen Kindern geeignet.

Perfektes Haus mit Weitblick für 2 bis 4 Gäste

Sehr schönes großes Haus mit Pool. Sehr gute Ausstattung, übereinstimmend mit Beschreibung. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war hervorragend. Zweimal in der Woche wurde gereinigt und die Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. Absolute Empfehlung.

Haus mit sehr guter Fernsicht

Wir wurden von Dora (Haushälterin), die im Obergeschoss wohnt, mit einem 3- Gänge-Menü empfangen. So etwas ist denke ich einzigartig.Sehr großzügiges Haus, mit vielen Terrassen / Freisitzen.Allgemeine Ausstattung, reichlich vorhanden.

Das Haus ist wie in der Beschreibung und wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. So liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr großzügig für 4 Personen mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Der Kontakt zu Cristina war über WhatsApp und sie hat schnell reagiert, wenn man ein Problem hatte. Wir sind bei unserer Ankunft mit einem leckerem 3-Gänge Menü empfangen worden, danke an Beatrix und Dora. Wir empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter!
