Quinta Pereira ... beautiful panoramic views and ocean sunsets

We welcome you to enjoy our slice of Madeira.

Sit back and relax by the pool, at the 'lookout' or beneath the old olive tree.

Quinta Pereira offers peace and tranquility, along with stunning views of the unspoilt mountains and lighthouse. Indulge in breathtaking panoramic sea views and sublime sunsets. There is no traffic or aircraft noise, no light pollution - just the soothing sounds of nature to luxuriate in.

Our two-bedroom villa sleeps four and offers ocean views and generous outdoor living space. The plunge pool overlooks the main swimming pool. The kitchen is well equipped with modern conveniences, including an American fridge-freezer with ice and chilled water. There are open-plan living spaces with free internet access and alfresco dining can be enjoyed from the comfort of our glass-enclosed room.

The lower gardens are accessed via a new staircase from the main villa. Here you'll also find our new glass-fronted garden studio, where you can relax and take in the ocean views or enjoy a game on our new pool table.

Note: The lower gardens and studio may be closed in some winter months for maintenance. Please check with owner.

An absolutely incredible house, kitted out to the very best standards and words cannot describe the view.The part of the island it is in, is quiet, you do need a car to get around the local area, however the quiet is also part of its charm.I already miss it.

Stunningly beautiful home and location! we had to work during our brief stay to take advantage of the many lovely spots around the property to enjoy views and amenities. We enjoyed a game of pool in what has to be the best view from a billiards room ever! The gardens are obviously carefully and abundantly tended. We enjoyed taking walks along local levadas, literally situated within steps of front gate. Perfect place to enjoy and explore the beauty of Madeira

Quiet location with great views. Check-in was a little difficult. VRBO communicated incorrect code for key lockbox. House was lovely with some minor issues. Namely, hot water was rarely available for showering. Minor issue but soap/shampoo dish in shower & towel racks in bathrooms would be nice.

A beautiful villa with views and vistas parallel to none. As we were paying more for the villa than for any five star accommodation, we expected a a little bit more attention on the amenities provided with in - towels (had to wash them again as they felt old), no coffee pods, no foil, basic toiletries, a cleaning system for the pool (have seen robotic machines in other villas we had stayed). Glad the views and the space compensated for these gaps and all in all we managed to have an amazing stay.

The Sunsets Linger On...

We spent 6 nights in Funchal and 3 nights at Quinta Pereira. QP was a wonderful counter-balance to a busy first week. Contemporary and tastefully appointed villa, gorgeous patios and terraces, lovely pool and hot tub, and stunning views. Amenities, restaurants et al are a 10-15 minute drive away. A surreal retreat for two couples.

Absolutely fantastic week spent here. We did end up doing quite a lot of driving but being able to come back to watch the sunsets over the sea and unwind in the pool made it all worth it. Great communication both before and during our stay, this is truly a treasure of a place.

Paradise and Seclusion

This property is as advertised. Spectacular views, no homes or construction between you and the cliffs. Huge glass doors/walls everywhere allows you to fully drink in the setting. a variety of relaxing places to sit and enjoy the views; both out in the open and under cover for when it rains. the amenities were in alignment with the property and it was easy to get in and out. we wanted a beautiful setting away from it all and this property delivered 150%. we wanted a home base on the west side of the island and will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home with spectacular view

We loved our stay in Madeira; especially long mornings overlooking the ocean on the many beautiful sitting areas of this home. The view and stargazing was beyond fantastic. Wendy is an attentive and considerate host! It is a decent drive to popular areas; however, we had no trouble getting around. Wonderful time!

Amazing property!

This property has everything you need and the views are just breathtaking. There are so many little areas to hangout, the gardens are beautiful, the smell of the lavender and jasmine is wonderful! There’s an amazing hike right from the property. The jacuzzi was a must every night! Really, just amazing.

Great house in gorgeous surroundings

The house is spacious and well equipped. The beds are good and the swimming pools very nice. Lovely seats at various points outside. There is a garden room almost ready, that will be a beautiful addition to the house. Everything you need for a fantastic, quiet holiday is there and if you want to explore the island, most places are reachable around 1 h , 1h15 min. Highly recommended

Unplugging in Paradise

Quinta Pereira was the most relaxed I’ve been on a vacation in a very long time. The house was gorgeous and the location was great for what we needed. We enjoyed laying out in the sun every day while staying at this property. Both pools and hot tub were fabulous. No light pollution at night so able to see all the stars. And it was so quiet during the day. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone looking to travel to Madeira any time soon.
