About this property

Welcome to the Heart of Little Italy in Downtown San Diego! This huge, modernized loft is settled within a stone's throw of the Little Italy Sign and some of the finest food and entertainment that all of San Diego County has to offer. We are welcoming all!! Families on vacation, couples looking for a romantic escape, groups of girls or guys celebrating weddings, etc.

The space is brand new, a unique conversion from a Yoga studio into a large residential loft. A large mural painted by one of San Diego's local artists is a sure conversation piece. Also inside the loft are two flat screen televisions, a grill and bathtub on the patio (perfect for keeping cool a case of beer), and a 6 foot champagne glass (why not?) The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, and the bathroom is completely redone with a huge shower.

OUR SPACE IS ALSO PERFECT FOR EVENTS! Events include: Networking Events, Cocktail Parties, Artist Gallery Viewing Space, ETC! Please Note: One Night Events have a different price than the 2 night minimum prices you see. Please message me for details.I need to make this clear, there are to be NO PARTIES inside the space. There are apartments below and the floors are thin. Please keep noise levels low after 10:30pm on weekdays, and midnight on weekends. This will be strictly enforced, and if I get a complaint about the noise from upstairs, your security deposit could be forfeited.

Designed and once the private residence of Jonathan Segal, who is considered one of downtown San Diego's most prominent and innovative architects. Guests will have their own outdoor patio, overlooking portions of Little Italy. Perfect for taking in the sounds of the city and the smells of delicious Italian food nearby. Guests will have their own garage, and tons of storage for longer stays.

Guests are within walking distance of everything San Diego has to offer. Whether you want to shoot across the street to have some of the finest cuisine in San Diego, or if you want to make the 15-20 minute walk to the San Diego Convention Center, Petco Park, or the San Diego Zoo.

Great Location

I stayed here with friends while attending an event at Broadway Pier. It was a perfect spot! We were able to just walk to the event and went had plenty of food options less than a block away. The garage is a little tight, but I was able to park a small truck. It was very convenient to have that available as street parking is tough in that area. Having the door code was also very convenient so my friends and I could come and go at different times. Will be staying here again!

Great loft

Great neighborhood. Apartment is as listed. Bright, airy, and artistic. Be aware that the garage is quite narrow and not suitable for SUVs.

Better Than We Thought

The space actually feels bigger than the pictures look. It was perfect for our busy weekend as it was packed with a graduation and celebration, brunch, college tour, and family visits. Coming home to the townhouse after each event was relaxing with such a fun vibe. All the natural light that comes in is beautiful and it was great being so close to so much. We would definitely stay here again.

Great space, great location

It looks cool in the photos and it is cool in real life, an expansive loft style apartment with a perfect location. Little Italy is hopping, almost as cool as the Gaslight Quarter. We walked to Padres game, Midway aircraft carrier, and a 10 minute drive to the zoo. Parking is a tight squeeze but we fit a pretty big car after folding the mirrors (Chevy Malibu). Incredibly convenient to have parking! There are three distinct sleeping areas - two loft spaces and a futon in the main space. Sound travels throughout the big space though. Outside is noisy, typical city noise in a hip neighborhood plus a beeping crosswalk and train crossing. If you're used to city living then you'll fall right asleep. If not then bring white noise or earplugs. The space is really cool and our kids thought it was the bomb. The wifi is really good. The place was clean but the furniture is a little worn and could use a refresh. Good shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. (No bathtub.) Nico was responsive via the VRBO app. Definitely would stay again.

This loft is one of 17 masterfully designed 2-story live/work lofts created by renowned architect Jonathan Segal. The interior is deigned with right angles, and give it a really modern feel. High ceilings make the space feel large. This specific unit was the residence of Jonathan Segal while he was living in the Little Italy area.

With everything you would need to live comfortably for whatever length of time you plan on staying.
Space is available for short or long term stays, as well as events!

What makes this property unique

Little Italy is one of the best places to stay in downtown. The area is clean, safe, and very easy to navigate. San Diego is home of some of the best cuisine and beer in America. Little Italy is the epicenter, with great restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries.
