About this property

Our beautiful Post & Beam home is located on Brant Lake and only steps from the patio to the sandy beach. The house has 3 levels with views from every room. The main level is an open floor plan with living room with large stone fireplace, dining room, kitchen and master bath. You can step outside to a deck and quiet sitting area.

The upper level has a loft, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms; each with a private balcony. The lower level is lake level and features another master bedroom with en suite full bath and secondary living room. All open out to a beautiful stone patio fully equipped for outdoor living.

The sandy beach is private and you can walk in to shallow water to swim. There's a dock with a row boat and space for your own boat. In the evening sit out by the fire pit and enjoy the night sky and call of the loons.

No lake house would be complete without some water toys so enjoy 2 sit on kayaks (3 paddlers), peddle boat, and row boat.

Amazing house!

My family along with my best friend and her family - all adult children and one grandchild, stayed a week and this beautiful, spacious, and well appointed home. We thoroughly enjoyed every inch and amenity - from the well stocked, large kitchen (which we gave a good workout!) to all the outdoor space. We are seasoned VRBO'ers and this house is among the best. Honestly, the pictures do not do it justice - it is so beautifully constructed - you can tell a lot of thought and love went into the design. We filled the house but still there were many spots for a guest to sneak away for quiet time. Appreciate the water toys provided - it's a big plus. And, we rented a pontoon for the week which was our highlight. Lots of fun tubing all over the lake - plus our slow "real estate tours" checking out all the properties on the pristine lake. Brant Lake is so quaint and secluded, a real find. Denise was super communicative with all my questions - thank you! We had an amazing week at Cedarbay - highly reccommend!

Wonderful house on the lake

Our whole family really enjoyed our one week stay at this house. Denise is a great host and supplied everything what is needed for family lake location. We even did stargazing using her telescope !

Beautiful Brant Lake

Brant Lake is the quietest lake i’ve Ever stayed on in the Adirondacks. We enjoyed this wonderful house. The kitchen was well stocked. We had kayaks, paddle board, and a sandy beach. 4 bedrooms and 3 and 1/2 baths were very nice and roomy. The owner is very nice and even bought my grandson a bunch of sand toys!! Wonderful property.

I live and work in the New York City area and grew up on Long Island. I spent most all my summers at Brant Lake and went to college in the Albany area and worked in the Lake George area throughout most of college.

Why they chose this property

Our family has been enjoying Brant Lake for many decades. As a child we spent our summer vacations on Brant Lake and we loved it so much that our parents bought a house on the lake. As an adult i too purchased a home on Brant Lake so that my family could continue to enjoy the lake. This home is my heart and the lake is my retreat from a busy work life. It's here where I love to entertain friends and family most. From morning to night there's something for everyone.

What makes this property unique

We rebuilt the house in 2008 and built our dream post and beam home. The views are spectacular from most every room. The cove is quiet with a good deal of privacy and wonderful neighbors. We love sitting on the patio during the day and by the bonfire at night. Rarely do we spend any time in doors and even on rainy days we can sit on the covered deck and enjoy the peace and beautiful rainbows afterwards
