We had a great time. Check in was easy and host was easy to get a hold of with questions. Neighborhood was quiet and we had lots of room indoor and out.
We were in town for 9 days while daughters competing at TCHS. The home was located nearby, with a pleasant comfortable sense of home. Kitchen well set up for cooking, plenty of beds and the yard/surrounding forest provides a sense of peace. Owner was helpful when we had questions and cooperative with our needs.
The house has a nice big kitchen and deck. We like to cook and relax outside so perfect for our group. It was a quiet neighborhood which we also liked. We will definitely look for this property again the next time we are in Traverse City.
A group of us stayed here for the Junior hunter finals. There is plenty of room to spread out with areas upstairs and downstairs. There are lots of bedding options. The only challenge we had was that we had more adults than kids so one of them ended up in the top of a bunk bed.
The location is perfect. 5 minutes from the show and the casino, and about 15 minutes to a bunch of dining options in Traverse City.
The upstairs has been beautifully remodeled and is stocked with everything you could need. The backyard is beautiful with plenty of space to let your pet run.
We enjoyed our stay and would book it again.
We enjoyed this beautiful property. It was well located and accommodated our entire family. The kitchen and living space was great along with the porch area. We would stay here again!
The house was great for our stay for the horse show and Keith was a fantastic host. He was great with communication and was a big help when a crazy storm came through and the power was out in the whole area. He kept in touch with the power company and made sure that my employees that were staying in the house had what they needed.
we have been coming to tc for years. wanted to find a quieter spot but not too far from town. perfect spot. keith was great. lot's of uncertainty with the covid virus. he went out of his way to communicate what was happening up there and made us feel very safe and comfortable with the decision to come up
My name is Keith and I have been a high school teacher and coach for over 20 years. I am a Michigan native but have lived in 4 other states. We love northern Michigan and settled into Traverse City area about 10 years ago to raise a family. We love hosting because it brings in people from all over the country.
Why they chose this property
We choose this property because it is extremely private. We have 1 neighbor that you can not see because we are surrounded by trees. Once you sit in the family room or on the deck and watch the deer come in daily for a meal it makes you forget the busyness of life. However, everything you need is only 5 minutes away or less (grocery store, casino, Tractor Supply, Great Lakes Equestrian Festival and multiple world class lakes).
What makes this property unique
This is a unique property and you will have the entire home and yard to yourself. We do not live on it anywhere else. It is beautiful, peaceful yet close to everything you need in a short drive.
