A beautiful, quiet, charming little cottage with access to Elk Lake. Situated on a quiet road between orchards and the lake. My husband and I brought our boat and put in at Elk Lake and went clear through to Torch Lake. Such a beautiful area!The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with. The cottage was clean and the owner thought of everything one might need while staying there.It was the perfect retreat we needed, and we’d go back again!

Barb is a great host and her home on Elk Lake is wonderful. We have rented her place the last several summers and it's something we always look forward to. It's a very special place.

It was a delightful spot, nestled between the lake and a cherry orchard. The cottage is clean, solid and quiet. The property is quiet but close to shopping and ice cream! I would absolutely stay again!

The property was extremely clean, very attractive, comfortable, had adequate space for a family, was well accessorized, and is located conveniently in relationship to Elk Rapids for groceries, souvenir shopping and activities. The hostess responded very promptly to questions and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only drawback would be you are not on the water but you can see and have access to the water. It definitely deserves an A and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The pictures don’t do it justice. The kitchen and common area are very spacious. The patio and grill area have a nice view of the surrounding properties and lake. It was nice having lake access just a short walk away. The upstairs ceiling is a little low for taller guests, but manageable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back

Wonderful Stay!

I really enjoyed staying at this cottage set amongst cherry trees with a view of the lake. The cottage is well equipped, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and have thought of all the details to make your stay a success.

Wonderful Cottage and Location!

Very cozy cottage surrounded my fruit trees and a short walking path to Elk Lake. My kids had a blast swimming and playing here! Overall, a wonderful property with extremely gracious hosts.

Great time at the lake

We had a really nice stay at the cottage and loved the access to the water. There are tons of great things to do in the area (especially for young children) and the cottage is in a great location. We would visit again!
