Cozy cabin on a quiet lake. There is a short, incline with small pebbles from parking area to cabin. Great firepit area. Perfect location; we were able to check out Traverse City, Petosky, Charlevoix, and area around Torch lake. Thought it was odd that cabin did not have any places to hang clothes or wet towels (only one small towel bar in bathroom, no hooks anywhere in cabin). Also kitchen not very conducive to cooking due to lack of counter space.

All available amenities are listed on both our website and our VRBO listing so guests can review what is provided before booking. A dishwasher is not listed as an available amenity and has never been advertised as part of the cottage. We encourage guests to review the listing details prior to booking to ensure the accommodations meet their expectations. We do offer rowboats and kayaks available for Guest use for free for all of our guests as an added free bonus to enhance their stay. Availability does vary on a first-come first-serve basis. The cottage was very well kept and cosy. The furniture was beautiful and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The view of the lake from the cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. The lake itself tended to be weedy and mucky by the dock. This was no problem for adults but maybe small children would not like the muck and weeds. My only suggestion would be a railing to hang on to by the small step into the cottage. My elderly husband had a little trouble managing it with no handrail. All in all I would recommend this cabin to adults who come to relax and fish and enjoy the beautiful view.

We loved our stay. The lake is so peaceful! The neighboring cabins are close, but only one other couple was there and there were no issues. Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for peace, but then you are near Alden & Elk Rapids - both charming strolls near water.

We had a terrific stay at Pibe Cottage. The cottage was very well stocked, organized and clean. We had great success fishing in the lake. The kayaks and boats were very nice to have. We will definitely be back!
