We had a great stay at this cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy our time up north. We loved being right on the lake and appreciated the convenient location close to Bellaire and several beautiful hiking trails. There was plenty to do nearby, and we had a lot of fun exploring the area. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway, and we would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing stay near nature!

The cabin was perfect! It was very clean and exactly as pictured. The kitchen is very well stocked, we loved the added special touch of the Thayer Cabin personalized glasses and mugs- they were too cute! The area was quiet and the lake was beautiful, just what we needed for a quiet, relaxing weekend!

The cabin was exactly as the photos appeared. That is what we were looking for. It was actually better with all of the extra special touches & incidentials that were provided. I believe everything was set up as if the host were thinking how they would like it - if they were staying there. If we were to come to Michigan again there is no doubt - we would stay there again. Quiet, peaceful lake side cabin in September.

These cabins have a rustic look, but are updated and clean. They are small- a family of 5 is about the limit, but they did enclose the covered porches this year and that provided additional space. Note that there is no washer or dryer available, so you will need to hit the laundromat if you are staying for an extended time. Rachel is very good at communication so that helps a lot. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful location. Right on Thayer Lake. The cabin was beautiful and looked like it had completely been remodeled inside. Many extra amenities and the sheets were so soft! We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Quiet, cozy and clean. We spent 5 days and enjoyed every day. The lake was beautiful and it was so much fun using the kayaks. We made a fire one night, wood was available for purchase at the going area rate. Marshmallow roasting sticks were provided.
