Lovely spot to celebrate a wedding anniversary! My husband and I enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the lovely surrounding area. Great location and amenities!
Very comfortable, clean house with great location very near toTraverse City, Sutton's Bay, Grand Traverse Lighthouse and of course wineries and cideries! Aaron was a great host!
Aaron is a great host. The place is very thoughtfully stocked with everything you could want. The hot tub was great, and we enjoyed fires at sunset on the beach. The beds were very comfortable, as was the furniture.

This was an excellent house to stay at for our winter ladies weekend. Close to everything and the hot tub and sauna were great for after a long day in the cold. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a great time at Aaron’s place. He is a great host and very thoughtful with numerous well planned amenities. The location is perfect for all that the greater Traverse City area offers. We had a great time hanging out on the beach every day and enjoyed the hot tub at night. Highly recommend!
We had a great time, just what we wanted. Especially enjoyed the hot tub in 25° weather in the middle of a snowstorm.
It was great.

About the host

I grew up in metro Detroit, downriver. Graduating from the University of Michigan, and worked with the airlines for 30 years. My time is divided between Traverse city, and metro Detroit. You may find me working on the property, or packing for my next trip, as i am always on the go! I love kayaking, hiking and learning, with a special devotion to yoga.
Why they chose this property
West Grand Traverse Bay is a very powerful body of water. South Lee Point Road holds an energy of welcoming comfort and calm peaceful serenity. The property is surrounded by mature forest of cedar and oak. The crystal clear stream flows year round spilling into the bay, providing a cool aliveness of fresh woodsy wilderness. The cottage is tucked back into the shade of the trees, while the white sandy beach rests in full sun all day.
What makes this property unique
The view from both the family room and kitchen are so amazing! As the trees are as much of the experience as the bay itself. Other benefits include: use of the gazebo, dock , kayaks , and paddle boards.
