Cottage with Private Beach on Spider Lake - Free Kayaks, Canoe & Pedal Boat!
Enjoy this perfect cabin retreat on the beautiful all-sports Spider Lake! The lake view from this recently updated, charming cottage is something you’ll never forget. The cabin, which sleeps up to 5 (double bed, twin bed, and a pull-out sofa) includes private beach access with a shallow, sandy swim area that’s perfect for the whole family.
You’ll enjoy swimming, fishing for all types of fish (bass, pike, bluegill, crappie, etc.), grilling out on the patio, or relaxing by the fire pit overlooking the gorgeous view of the lake. If you’d rather get out on the lake, enjoy the complementary use of 2 kayaks, a canoe, and pedal boat.
Once you’ve enjoyed the cottage amenities, you’ll have plenty to explore! Enjoy the leisurely 0.8 mile walking look around the woodsy road. Spider Lake is also close to a wonderful park with tennis courts, play structures, and other great activities. Looking for more adventure? Check out the historic Old Mission Peninsula (and the Lighthouse), Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, wineries, downtown Traverse City shopping/dining, or visit Lake Michigan— all within a 10-55 minute drive.
Need a few things or some meat to throw on the grill? A convenience store/gas station, restaurant, grocery store, and Costco are a short 3-13 minute drive away.
No added cleaning rates. Bring your own sheets and towels: linens are not provided.

Lake getaway
Very good location, nearby to Traverse City. Spider Lake is a good size, thought there would be more activity but not overcrowded at all. Cabin is small but nice. Could use a few more amenities.

The magnificent views of the lake are breathtaking and the surrounding forest and abundant wildlife are soothing and relaxing.
What makes this property unique
The cabin is located in a peaceful, serene environment with a sandy swim area. Two docks are available for fishing and/or to dock a large boat. Minutes from shopping and dining in downtown Traverse City.
