Great cabin in a quiet location right on the lake and just a short drive from Traverse City. Everything was clean and well kept, and it was the perfect spot for my wife and our Frenchies to get away for a few days. Very dog friendly, which was a huge plus. We also had a chance to meet the owner, who was a super nice guy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a nice location right off the lake, with a dock and a couple chairs perfect for relaxing, reading, nature watching - whatever floats your boat! The hosts were quick to reply with answers to our questions the day of our check-in. The only problem is something no one can control - dropping acorns in the fall onto the roof of the house. All-in-all, a pretty perfect vacation!

Cabin was quiet & secluded. Good air conditioning as it was very hot a few days we were there. Keep in mind this is a cabin surrounded by woods, therefore it isn't pristine, but it was still a great stay! Hosts were very responsive & let us check in a little early which was wonderful.

Great cabin. Beds were comfy and the lake is beautiful. I appreciated that they left some good firewood for us and the hosts are very easy to work with and quick to respond.

Communication was excellent! Kathy was so accommodating! She even brought some fishing poles and let our boys use them for the couple of days we were there. Very dog friendly too! It is a cozy cabin for sure, but the air conditioning was awesome and so was the location!

We had a lovely stay here! The cabin is on a beautiful serene lake with much outdoor space to enjoy the lakefront. You are able to have your “up north” lake experience and be a 20 min drive away from Traverse City. The hosts were kind and responsive!

We absolutely enjoyed the serenity of this cabin. There were other cabins close but not encroaching or disturbing. Our pups ran around and enjoyed the property and chasing squirrels. We used the kayaks one day and used this as our home base to travel around sights in the area. The host was attentive and we had everything we needed.

Great little Cabin. It was clean and cozy, but spacious enough for what it was. A/C worked pretty well too! There is a nice firepit area and a nice dock to sit on and look at the lake as well as a nice deck area. That was what I liked, for a "small" space, it had several different nice environments to spend time in. Dog friendly too! Little touches like included bug spray were nice, and there was a good instruction booklet to help with how to use anything. Hosts were easy to work with and attentive as well. Would stay again! It's a cabin, not a house so obviously there is no laundry or dishwasher (It doesn't claim to have these), but if you don't need those things... this is a great space to hang out on a beautiful, quiet lake.

Cute cottage

This little cottage is so cute. It’s small but well appointed and you can’t beat the beautiful lake view and access. I loved my stay. Communicating with the owners was easy and they were super accommodating. I hope to be back!

Hosts were great about answering questions before we stayed. The cabin is exactly what we wanted; cozy and quiet, in the woods and on a lake, great fire pit area, close to the wine/cider trail.

Cozy Cottage

What a wonderful and cozy cabin! Everything you could possibly need was steps away….amazing deck with lake view, fire pit, dock with rocking chairs and kayaks just a few cabins away. We had a great and relaxing time on the lake! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Enjoyable MI cottage

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the use of the kayaks. Bass Lake is very nice and the cluster of small cottages was very quiet. I was surprised that there was not a permanent stove, but the options that were available worked out fine.

Nick, Glad you had a nice time on our lake. Unfortunately, the space didn't allow for a full oven. We did however replace our toaster oven to a combo toaster and air fryer. Thanks for your input.

Perfect up north getaway

When you think of up north, Michigan, this cottage is what you imagine! The location is perfect; a wonderful blend of privacy (off of a lake, too), plus very convenient to shopping. We loved our stay. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Quiet Lakeside Bliss

My husband, son, small pup and I loved our stay! The well-appointed cabin had everything you could ask for, proximity to town was superb, and the lake was absolutely serene. We had a string of unexpected visits due to the cabin being the internet hub but the owners were easy to work with. Great spot!
