Fabulous getaway. Host and locals were all very helpful with tips on exploring the area. House was in the perfect location to dinning, the river, lake and sequoia giant forest. Looking forward to returning.

The house was perfect and the swimming hole in the river behind the house was beyond epic. We spent most of our time there and can't wait to return. Communication with the host was so easy and she left out the cutest welcome basket for my pup. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Yvonne,
Thanks for the nice review. I'm so happy the property was the perfect fit for you. We look forward to hosting you again soon. ~Robin~
Home true to description. Decor is Craftsman style/artsy. Loved the vibe of the place - serene. Private. Great location for access to Sequoia/Kings Canyon.Food options in town are limited. No fast food. There is a grocery market where you can buy commonly used items and a couple gas stations for fueling up before driving Sequoia/Kings Canyon. What else do you need?
the open kitchen, dining, and living room space was great for my family to cook meals and relax after a long day adventuring. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean adn well-stocked, and the AC units were easy to use to keep everything at a comfortable temperature.

Robyn's place was perfect! The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The river was fantastic after a long day of hiking. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook at home.

Pam,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review for us. Thank you also for taking great care of the house. You came at the perfect time…warm, sunny weather and fresh cold river water…the perfect combination! ~Robin~
Sweet place for 4 adults two children (7) and (5) and two dogs! The place was very comfortable even in 109 degree weather outside. We were in the river a lot and the house was so nice to come back to. In August the water is way down but still suited us with two small kids and dogs. It was lovely and comfortable. Easy secure access to the large property. We had a bear visit in the night and knocked over the bear-prof trash can!My three criticisms of the place was, 1. it would be nice to have a real clear pathway down to the water. 2. The kitchen storage (pantry) space is missing, making food storage all over the place. The "office" area should be made interchangeable as a pantry. 3. The acorn shaped drawer pulls in the kitchen are painful to pull on and poked and surprised me every time. Still if it was the 6 of us again I would want to come back repeatedly!
One of our favorite VRBOs ever. Delightful setting, very comfortable and welcoming house. We were there too early to swim due to the temperature, but sitting on the patio having meals and watching and listening to the river was outstanding. Certainly helps that Sequoia is now one of my favorite parks. We've been to 35 national parks, and this is top 10 for sure, maybe top 5. (Yosemite, Glacier, Yellowstone, Acadia, and Grand Canyon are hard to displace!). Host was great.

Gosh - what a great review!!! Thank you so much. It was a pleasure having you and I am sure our potential guests will appreciate your glowing recommendation of Sequoia NP. Living right here in Three Rivers for over 40 years, I sometimes take it for granted that we have this iconic park literally in our backyard.. Please come back soon!
Our group included my parents, my kids (11 amd 14) and us. Each of us LOVED this stay, but for different reasons. The house was described perfectly - it was cozy, with a great location, and well stocked. The river was the best screen-free respite for our kids after long days in Sequoia/Kings Canyon, and the back patio was a quiet and peaceful space for evening conversation. The kitchen is on the smaller side, which was fine for us as we bought pre-made meals with little need for prep (it just would have been tight if we were cooking large meals). The beds were on the firmer side, and were moderately comfy, but tt was really nice having 2 single beds for our kiddos. Also, Robin was such a lovely host. This was our first CA stop on a long family vacation, and she was reassuring, easy to reach, and so helpful! We gave it a family score of 9/10 stars, with my 11 year old saying he wished we didn't have to leave so soon (best recommendation a place can get!)

Melissa,
It was a pleasure hosting your family. I'm glad the house was comfortable (the kitchen is a bit small for a group of six, but I'm glad you made it work.) Regarding beds, it is challenging to provide the perfect bed as guests' preferences vary from soft to firm. That said, we will assess the comfort level and update if appropriate. Thank you for your honest feedback and for taking wonderful care of the house. ~Robin~
