NEW RENOVATED! Villa Erato / Private Paradise with heatable Pool & Sea View.

Erato villa is a luxurious villa, NEW renovated in April 2023, all built with natural stones, wooden roof and floor decorated by our professional designer team. The whole facility can easily accommodate up to 7 people. The private entrance of the villa leads into a well-equipped, open plan kitchen with a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, wash machine a coffee-machine and a toaster.
The sitting/dining room is perfect for entertaining or just lounging around, while the latest modern appliances mean you won't miss anything from home. It is furnished with a comfortable corner sofa and fireplace and is equipped with a Sat / smart Flatscreen TV, and WIFI. On the ground floor there is also a small guest toilet and a storage room. More spacious beds and rooms are at the first floor ,a wooden stairs lead the way to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom contains an wooden double bed with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers with mirror, TV, an en-suite bathroom with shower and WC and a balcony with a direct view of the sea and the pool. Next to the master bedroom are other two other bedrooms with 2 single beds which can also be used as a double bed. The room is equipped with a wardrobe, Sat TV, a small chest of drawers with a mirror and a balcony with a direct view of the sea and the pool. Opposite the bedrooms you will find the shared bathroom with a double washtable & double shower and WC.

Amazing villa

The owner Stefani was great. Always at the end of the phone to help you out. Fantastic views. Beautiful swimming pool. Spacious villa and gated. Very good communication.. It had everything you could possibly need. Big Spar supermarket 5 mins walk away. Koutouloufari is a lovely quaint village. Good restaurants.

Probably the best villa we have stayed in with a great pool and outside space! We loved it! Great restaurants in the town just 10-15 minutes walk away. Stefani, the host, was great, so welcoming and helpful. All made for a very special holiday.

Great and luxurious villa

The villa is amazing!!! Everything is working, comfortable and fully operational: the pool, the quality of the beds, the showers, the kitchen equipment, etc. And above all, the personal contact with Stefani (the owner) is great: she always reacts quickly to any request or question that you might have. Villa Erato, Koutouloufari

This is a great villa, just 10 minutes walk from the village of Koutouloufari, which we love and a similar walk down to the resort of Star beach at Chersonnisos. The manager, Stefanie is fabulous, on hand to meet at the property and quick to respond to any queries. The property itself is very comfortable, my only negatives were the size of the ensuite shower room with the smallest shower I have ever seen (understandably not pictured in the advertising) and the very weak lighting which made the house gloomy. This wouldn't be a problem in summer of course. We had the pool heated which was a brilliant idea. Unfortunately the jacuzzi is out of commission. All in all a very good villa.

Wonderful Villa - convenient to all

We absolutely loved our time in this beautiful villa. Stefani was a wonderful host - very responsive and catered to our every need (even arranged poolside massages for us). The villa itself was perfect for our group (3 friends working remotely) and is very convenient to restaurants, the beach and nightlife…but it is hard to find excuses to leave the villa with its views! There are grocery stores in walking distance (who will deliver the groceries to the villa) and 2 towns that are in walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with delicious Greek food, but also a full kitchen and bbq if you want to cook at home. If we ever return to the area, we would 100% stay at Villa Erato again! Thank you Stefani for a wonderful trip

Tolles Haus im grandioser Lage

Die Villa in rustikalem Stil verfügt über einen wunderbaren Meerblick, ist nahe am Star Beach in Chersonissos gelegen und mit dem Taxi ist man schnell und günstig auch in Malia. Dennoch ist die Umgebung ruhig und etwas abgelegen. Tolle Zeit, nur zu empfehlen!

A really nice week at Crete

Was everything and more!

You never know what you are actually renting until you get there and we were not disappointed. Beautiful villa that is gorgeously landscaped with lantanna, gardenias, honeysuckle and roses. The tile work is beautiful around the pool and porches, all it needs is a hammock. I would highly recommend this villa and highly recommend Stefani as a host! Can’t wait to go back!!

Lovely villa in great location

Lovely property, situated perfectly for both Koutouloufari and Hersonissos. Koutouloufari is a traditional charming village with amazing restaurants, and Hersonissos is bigger and more lively, the best of both worlds! You can walk to Koutouloufari easily from the villa, and you can also walk to the nearest part of Hersonissos. For the main strip in town it’s best to get a cab as although you could walk, it’s a little far in the heat. We loved the pool terrace and garden area, and one section of the pool has a jacuzzi which was very nice. The villa is well equipped and has everything you could need. It was cleaned twice a week which we’ve not experienced before with other villa rentals. Stefani was lovely and did everything she could to make us welcome and help us. Only negative is there’s only 1 shower despite the 2 bathrooms, which for a family of 5 meant we had to take turns. But a small point overall.

a lovely time was had by all

villa was very clean and in a good location for shops and restaurants. Our grandson slept very well at night and was full of beans next day for new adventures. The pool was not very warm but we were in a few times, the beaches were more tempting at this time of year. Stefani was very attentive and we were very grateful of the late checkout on last day as our flight home was 11.00pm

The villa itself was brilliant, but the location let it down.

The villa and the service from Stefani was brilliant. Very clean inside and out, all new and up to date appliances, good AC system. Unfortunately for us, we were looking for somewhere very family friendly as we have a 2 year old. For us, the local town of Koutouloufari wasn't suitable as it seemed like the nearest 'fall out' town from Malia (i.e. extremely busy with your 18-30 type crowds). Therefore we had to drive out every night to places to go somewhere more suitable with a pushchair.

After 30 years of holidays I would say this is the best villa we have stayed in. Really tastefully decorated. Wonderful pool and garden. Great location - just a short walk from the village with its cobble stone streets and family run tavernas. One of the best holidays we have had.

Wonderful and relaxing place with all you need.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in villa Erato. The property was clean and well maintained and the listing description regarding the location very accurate. The owners of the villa were most helpful in every respect. Although we have had couple of bad dinners we also had some outstanding meals in restaurant Rouga tou mpaola and Oniro in Koufouloufari and in Akrogiali by the seafront in Hersonissos. Also check out David's restaurant in Piskoeiano cheap and great food. Overall we have no hesitation in highly recommending stay in villa Erato.

The property is totally private and quiet located, perfect for families with children or couples who need a relaxing vacation.
The house is stone built with an atmosphere of a small castle, a big spacious garden and lawn area around and of course with your own private pool (heated pool against extracharge of 90 Euro / day)and large sun terrace.
New since 2023 is the Jaquzzi / hot tub at the garden area with extra charge of 50Euro / day)
