South Hero Guesthouse with lake access and great sunsets

Recently constructed Guesthouse located about 250 feet from Lake Champlain. Lakeshore patio and dock provide easy access to the broad lake. Guesthouse is located on a quiet rural road which is one of the main scenic bicycle routes through the Champlain Islands.
Burlington is located 25 minutes away, 5 minutes to the ferry to New York State, and less than an hour from Canada.
Guesthouse has 1 bedroom with queen bed and ample storage, tiled bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, open dining/ living room with queen size sofa bed. Pets welcome but may not be left unattended. Maximum occupancy is 4, which includes pets.

This was our second time staying at Don and Perky’s cottage, and it certainly won’t be our last! We had another absolutely wonderful stay.The cottage is immaculately kept and well-equipped with everything you could need. Outside, the lake is beautiful, we especially enjoyed the stunning sunsets. Perky’s gardens are also very beautiful and add a lot to this charming property.A massive bonus for us, the property is pet-friendly. Finding high-quality, pristine rentals that welcome pets can be incredibly difficult, so we deeply appreciated being able to bring our furry family members along.Don and Perky are friendly and extremely gracious, thoughtful hosts. We cannot recommend this beautiful lakeside getaway highly enough!

Don & Perky were wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a great location for our day trips to Burlington & Quebec. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and we were lucky to spend the day there and observe the eclipse over the lake, avoiding the crowds.

This property is truly special. Staying in this lovely guesthouse for 2 weeks right at the shore of Lake Champlain was idyllic, relaxing and rejuvenating. The house has everything one would need, and is situated off of a lovely country road which provides lovely scenic walks. I felt welcome immediately by my hosts and cannot wait to return soon!

Our stay was lovely in every way. The property was very clean, and well kept and the owners were conscientious about all precautions for covid related travel regulations. The lake was beautiful—perfect for a relaxing stay and quiet weekend.
