This beautiful tastefully decorated house dates from the 17th century. It has a large kitchen opening onto an ample living area with a very large fireplace. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower room, and a separate toilet. On the second floor, there are 3 bedrooms, a toilet, a dormitory with 4 beds, and a shower room.
The house, which is perched on a hill and the garden full of charm, offers exceptional views over the valley and the Epte River. Less than 1 hour from the centre of Paris, it is a stunning, quiet, green haven.
By the Epte, the natural and historic border between Ile-de-France and Normandy, the house is located right in the heart of the nature park of the Vexin. The surrounding countryside offers many activities and excursions.

Really nice house in a peaceful scenic location. Very rustic, French house. Gardens are really nice with outdoor eating areas, seating, hammocks and ping pong. Location is great for catching a train from Vernon to various places - we traveled to Rouen and Paris. Laurent as host is very pleasant, relaxed and helpful!

Despite some varied weather Laurents wonderful home and setting made up for everything. When we walked through the beautiful gates it is truly a wow moment. From the stone arbour looking over the beautiful valley to the crackle of the fire Guy Fawkes would have been proud of we had a great time. Laurent was the perfect host and provided us with any information we may have needed

Wonderful Stay in Chateau Sur Epte

This is a large 17th c house and garden with wonderful details throughout. We were a group of eight: four in their 20's, four in their 60's. There was plenty of room in the house, and there were many special areas in the garden. The countryside is just beautiful. The RER from Cergy le Haut gets you to the center of Paris. We all loved our two weeks here.

Très agréable endroit, avec beaucoup de charme et un magnifique jardin. Accueil chaleureux par le charmant propriétaire du lieu. La maison est magnifique et la décoration très recherchée. On reviendra!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison familiale , agréable en hiver grâce à sa cheminée et les couettes bien chaudes . Cuisine super bien équipée qui bous a permis de passer le week-end à cuisiner malgré la pluie . Dommage que cela se soit fini par un refus catégorique de la dame ouvrant la maison de nous dépanner en batterie ( estimant que cela aller lui esquinter sa voiture ....) nous avons donc passer 1 h a attendre sous la pluie qu ‘ une voiture s arrête en pleine campagne et gentiment nous dépanne !! Mais bravo au propriétaire Laurent qui a beaucoup de goût .

Maison avec beaucoup de charme. On s y sent bien. On a envie d y retourner. J en rêve encore!

Tout le confort, l accueil, le charme pour passer d excellents moments en famille. Tout le monde a adoré : petits, ados, et grands. Bel environnement pour les balades. A 2 pas de Paris. Exceptionnel vraiment à tout point de vue. Et le bonheur de levé fu jour depuis la chambre!

A hidden gem!

My family and 2 other families of friends booked for a week stay. There were 6 adults and 5 children so was hoping the house would be big enough and it didn't disappoint. The kids loved the dormitory style room so they could all play together in one large room. The adults loved the large fire place and bar area. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the gadgets and the 2 dishwashers came in very handy. The kids made full use of the garden even in below freezing temperatures. The homely feel of the property made you relax and feel at ease. Michelle was welcoming and assisted us with everything in the house (even with the lack of English on her half and the lack of French on ours) The only draw back of this house is that is doesn't have a village within walking distance (it was a little too far for the kids) but we did enjoy walking around the countryside. I would definitely recommend this house as its a great winter retreat!!

Parfait pour les familles

La maison et l'emplacement était parfait pour notre week end au calme et pas très loin d'un RER (30min de Cergy le Haut). Les chambres sont nombreuses et la maison est idéale pour un week end entre amis avec quelques enfants, on en famille. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et n'hésiterions pas pour y revenir.

Une maison ancienne avec une ame, du charme, et tout le confort fonctionnel pour savourer des instants de bonheur au calme. Superbe jardin avec vue dégagée à 180° sur l Epte. Le proprietaire est très attentif aux souhaits des vacanciers, et fait le maximum pour rendre leur séjour agréable. Excellent accueil de Michele. Ne vous posez pas la question, location à réserver les yeux fermes. Florence

Un excellent séjour calme et "impressioniste"

Si vous souhaitez faire un séjour pour un long week-end ou des vacances, en famille ou entre amis, c'est l'endroit idéal: il vous permets de profiter de chacun tout en permettant une certaine indépendance. En plus, l'environnement verdoyant permet aux enfants de s'épanouir dans le jardin mais les adultes peuvent rester au calme grâce à un superbe jardin fleuri en terrasse. La maison est très bien équipée avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner et partager de bons repas et est bien entretenue et propre. Elle offre des points d'eau dans la plupart des chambres, ce qui est bien pratique. En plus, un dortoir avec DVD et baby foot parfait pour les enfants. Si vous aimez les fleurs et autres essences, vous serez servis avec un jardin superbement entretenu, avec arbres, fleurs et plantes (aromatiques ou non). Il est agréable de se balader dans le jardin pour les couleurs, les odeurs... ne manque plus qu'un chevalet, une toile et une palette pour se croire chez Monet! Excellent contact avec le propriétaire, M. Avoyne, toujours disponible pour les questions et la préparation du séjour. De plus, vous serez accueilli par Michèle avec un sans faute, toujours prête à aider et à vous accompagner. Une femme très agréable et attachante qui fera tout pour que votre séjour se passe bien. De plus, les alentours vous permettent d'obtenir tout ce qu’il faut en excellentes victuailles et se trouve dans les bonnes adresses de M. Avoyne (notamment le boucher, excellent!). Finalement, vous trouverez aussi de quoi nourrir votre culture avec les visites de Giverny, Gisors, du Vexin tous très proche. et si vous ne voulez plus prendre la voiture, vous pouvez aussi marcher autour, c'est très agréable! En résumé, merci à M. Avoyne et Michèle, pour un excellent long week end. Nous reviendrons, donc à bientôt!

TRES BELLE MAISON PLEINE DE CHARME !

Super week-end dans une belle demeure, pleine de charme, déco de très bon goût.Magnifique jardin. On ne peut s'empêcher de penser à Claude Monet et aux impressionnistes ... Charmant accueil fait par Michèle. Très bons contacts avant et après avec le propriétaire. A renouveler en espérant que le soleil nous permettra de profiter au maximum des extérieurs. Monique
