About this property

Fabulous 3BR/3BA Ocean Front Condo

This is a fabulous three bedroom condominium in the Sailmaker community. The unit is an upper floor unit in building 7 which has perfect views over the dunes to the ocean. There are three full bathrooms and the unit has been fully remodeled with travertine floors, granite counters, travertine showers, new carpet, new bedding & new linens to name just a few luxuries.

The master bedroom is upstairs with a spectacular view to the beach and has a private bathroom and a king bed. The upstairs guest bedroom has a private bathroom and a bunk bed (twin over full with twin trundle). The 1st floor guest bedroom has a queen bed and there is a full bathroom on the 1st floor across the hall from the bedroom.

The large back porch is great place to relax and enjoy spectacular sunrises or afternoon cocktails overlooking the beach. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen and large dinning room table which make eating in a joy.

It is a short walk over the dunes for a fun day at the beach. The community has a nice pool tucked into the coastal oaks that is a wonderful place to relax and the complex has a large 2 acre lawn overlooking the beach for the kids to run around and enjoy.

Sailmaker is located about 1/2 mile South of the Ritz Carlton & About 1.5 miles North of the Omni Resort. Both are great destinations with a variety of restaurants, shopping, golf, full spa services, and a variety of other activities. Downtown Fernandina is only 10 minutes away and is another great place for food and fun.

Some other favorite places / activities are Fort Clinch State Park, Kayak Amelia, Kingsley Plantation and the Cumberland Island National Seashore.

This was the perfect location for our group of 5 on our first visit to Amelia Island. The photos are accurate but the beach is so much more amazing and beautiful in person. We appreciated the fully stocked home, including the beach towels and chairs, games, enough space for everyone. Nick was very responsive with our booking and the one question we had after arrival. Best stocked Vrbo we have ever stayed! No issues with rooms, amenities, etc. patio better than picture shows. Laundry facilities good, dw a bit loud and ticky but worked fine. Nice, quite complex. Pool access card did not work but other guests let us in. Pool was dirty but the one day of sun we did have they came and cleaned it. Overall great stay but crappy weather! We will not be back to Amelia before May ever again. Thank you for sharing your home w us!

This property is spacious with nice ocean views. It’s set back from the road which makes it feel less busy than other parts of the island. It’s well stocked and also has beach supplies like chairs and towels. Nick was a great host. We would stay here again.

Great family getaway!

We loved our stay. It was our third Amelia trip, but our first time at this property. The location and view are perfect! The second bedroom upstairs is great for kids, but works great for adults as well. We will definitely be back!

Loved Fernandina Beach - A True Gem

Finding Nick's rental property at Fernandina Beach was such a wonderful surprise and what a gem it is. The condo is in a lovely area, with a fantastic view of the ocean, a beautiful and good sized deck, spacious common area - it was beautifully appointed and close to some restaurants and shopping. We had a great stay in this condo! Three girls and moms on their senior spring break. Perfect for walking to the beach. Enjoyed breakfast and sunsets on the balcony. Enjoyed watching some wildlife from the balcony, turtles and rabbits. Beds were super comfortable, enough space for all of us to enjoy games at the kitchen table and movies in the living room. First time to Amelia Island. Drove to the downtown several times for shopping and dinners out easy drive.Would definitely recommend staying here

Spring Break Stay

All in all, a very nice condo, comfortable, beach view, convenient to everything on Amelia and Fernandina Beach. Would appreciate stocking with light bulbs (some were out, and we are all avid readers). Thanks for the supply of beach chairs and toys.
