About this property

Our home is located on a pristine peak in upscale Playa Ocotal, allowing you to get away from it all while still being a short five-minute ride to Ocotal beach and restaurants.

The condo has a top-of-the line chef’s kitchen, which features stainless steel GE Profile appliances and comes fully stocked with all of the cooking utensils you need to dine with the sunsets. The kitchen also has eat-in breakfast island and opens beautifully into the living area, which opens up—via large sliding glass doors—to a huge terrace with dramatic views of the ocean.

Dine inside at the 6-person dining table or out on the terrace, which comes complete with a four-person dining table, outdoor grill, and separate lounge area.

The living area of this home features a flat screen TV, and has large beautiful pocket doors that can open into the master bedroom. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and an amazing on-suite bathroom with rain shower and separate bathtub to enjoy long, relaxing soaks. The master bedroom also accesses the terrace for more views of the ocean. The second bedroom is spacious and has two full-sized beds. The privacy of this condo, which is surrounded by nature and incredible ocean views, makes this home unique and a must stay for a relaxing vacation.

The Azul Paraíso development has a beautiful and unique pool for each separate building within the complex. As a result, your pool is shared only with five other units within your building to allow for maximum privacy.

The condo is only a 10-minute drive to Playas del Coco, where you can find a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. We suggest considering the option of renting a car, as it can greatly enhance your experience of the area around the house, allowing you to easily explore and embark on exciting adventures at your convenience. The condo is located 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport.

Happy in Costa Rica

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property in Casa Arena Blanca was a very beautiful condo with views of the ocean. We stayed for 8 days and found it very comfortable and relaxing. The views of the ocean are amazing (steep hill climb to resort, but you get used to it).

Slice of paradise

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Breathtaking views. Spacious 2 bedroom unit. Perfect for families. Good proximity to restaurants and beaches but having a car is a must. The pool was too cold to swim in because it is in the shade and not heated. We lost water for 3 hours but the management company was very responsive. Highly recommend this gem.

Just amazing

We stayed a week (9/30-10/7/23). The condo is large, beautiful, well decorated, well maintained, and very well decorated. The view of the Gulf of Papagayo is just stunning. We watched many beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the large and comfortable patio. Not to mention several birds and also howler monkeys in nearby trees. It was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped, and basic supplies (dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, toilet paper) were all supplied, and not just one pod/load/roll but more than enough for 2 people for a week. The number of bath linens and pool towels provided were more than enough and very good quality. The drive to/from the nearby town of Coco to visit the nearest restaurants and supermarkets is really the only drawback to this condo in my opinion. While completely passable it’s a 20-minute drive with some rather bumpy spots. Don’t be afraid of the drive - I just found it longer and rougher than I would have wanted. And while we did have a minor maintenance issue (the television in the living room had a speaker problem and really wasn’t usable), the Krain property manager came out to see the issue and contacted the condo owner, who graciously had the television replaced the next day. Really top notch response by the management and owner - and much appreciated since it was (American) football season! The condo, supplies, equipment, and views were all top-notch. We would gladly stay again.

Beautiful Property

Check-in was a breeze and David was informative and willing to help with any questions. The condo was in great condition and well stocked with cooking equipment, including plates, silverware, and cutlery. Pots and pans were in excellent shape and they have a washer/dryer for your convenience. The patio has a wonderful ocean view and a propane grill. The Master bathroom shower was awesome and very spacious.

Breathtaking

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 9A was absolutely amazing! A dream.... You will have to drive up and down a rocky road but its worth it. Only one disappointment is the management staff.... Unresponsive, didnt check up on us, we asked for gas for the grill to cook so we wouldn’t have to leave every night for dinner.... He said he would bring it but never did and never responded....if we come back definitely i dont want to work with him again
