A little tricky to find initially when we arrived and oh boy the stairs!! I have to say it was worth it. The place was clean, quiet, quaint. There were only 2 of us so there was plenty of space. It would have been a little tight with other people particularly with the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom was beautiful and they supplied soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The kitchen was well stocked. There is AC in all of the rooms. It was crazy hot when we visited so the AC had to work really hard to keep it cool enough (which did take a while). They had a fan that helped. There were beach towels, toilet paper and paper towels along with plenty of bath towels. We walked most places and caught a Bolt if we were tired. The terrace was cute but it was too hot while we were there to enjoy it. Pedro was lovely and his mom was sweet. We really liked this place!

Wonderful stay in the Bario Alto! We’ve visited Lisbon before and stayed in the Alfama but always ended up in the BA so this time we decided to stay where we enjoyed the most the last visit. This place was an amazing find, right in the heart of downtown Lisbon, within walking distance of Baixa-Chiado and Cais do Sodré, and a close Uber ride to all the major attractions in Lisbon. The views from the balcony were unworldly, and the house was spotless. Lots of room for our family of 5, and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed as well.What was also amazing that, while we were close to downtown, it was a very quiet street and neighbourhood, so very easy to sleep. Lots of little corner stores nearby as well.Pedro and Naide were amazing hosts - they were very accommodating and answered allof our questions promptly. They made our stay very enjoyable, 5 stars, we fully recommend staying here!
