Great family stay in Lisbon

We are family of 6 (husband, 2 sisters, nephew, daughter and myself) ages 27-74 meeting in Lisbon for 4 day stay of being a tourist. Marissa’s place was perfect for us. First it was beautiful and spacious, we were very comfortable and felt completely safe all 4 nights. We waked to most things, but did have our tuk tuk tour pick us up at the door which was great! The beds were very comfortable, beautiful clean bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. We only did small continental type breakfast in the apartment, dinners we ate out and every meal was fabulous! Walking down the hill to Rossio square was very easy, we all managed it just fine! I was able to get my Starbucks daily and we ate more delicious sweet treats than I’ve had in years! We had a great trip and Marisa’s apartment was the perfect central location for us to work from and relax at night, and that deck was fantastic!! Everything was as advertised, it was quiet at night, we slept well and played hard! We highly recommend this apartment, we were very happy with it!

Appartement parfait

Nous nous sommes rendus à Lisbonne avec des amis. L’appartement spacieux et le duplex permet à chacun d’avoir son espace. La propriétaire s’est montré très adaptable. L’appartement est très très bien équipé et nous avons trouvé des produits de base pour pouvoir cuisiner tranquillement. Les produits d’hygiène sont de bonne qualité. Rien ne manque.

Good location

This vrbo was very nice and well located…check in was easy as communication with host was excellent. No complaints. Apartment was very clean and very nice. Lots of stairs to climb, so beware if you have large luggage. We managed it well! I rated 4 stars but would give 4.5 if we could… I’m deducting .5 for a few reasons…inside staircase in the apartment is very narrow and hand rail needs to be fixed as it’s very wobbly. I did mention this to Marisa on my way out. All in all a very nice place, comfy beds and would stay here again..

Wonderful hostess, impressive city!!!

This apartment was as clean and well-stocked as any we have ever rented!Four adults (two couples) were accommodated nicely and all slept extremely well - mostly due to the comfy beds and partially due to the amount of walking we did on the hilly streets of Lisbon. Being first-time visitors, we heard the stories and they are no joke - but worth every step!We should disclose this is a third floor apartment with narrow stairs (54, to be exact) and no lift, but the warm and homey feel, the good city view, and proximity to many sites, restaurants, and transit was an easy trade worth making.Our hostess, Marisa, greeted us personally and gave us a complete tour pointing out every detail, most of which enhanced our stay. e.g.: recycling, laundry and dishwasher soap, foldable clothes drying rack, where to shop for groceries nearby (and a cart, if needed). All the daily essentials like shower soap, plenty of clean linens, two sets of keys, directions on lights and HVAC, TV, were provided.Communication was excellent and arrival / departure times were as flexible as one could hope for. Marisa went above and beyond as she helped with a bag down the stairs as we were leaving - not to mention the bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival.When we come back to Lisbon, we will look to stay here again!Thank you, Marisa!

Great Location

The stay was great. Lots of stairs but very doable. We are all in our late 60s and were able to do manage the stairs.we were close to everything. Marisa was very accommodating. House was clean and very nice. Would recommend this house.

Great comfort

The apartment is lovely. It is clean, well set up, and with great views of the city. The location is excellent for shopping and touring, but the steep hill can be difficult for older people.

Great, central apartment

We rented the apartment for one week for a 60th birthday getaway. We absolutely loved it. Clean, big, quiet street, it had absolutely everything needed for our stay. It has a beautiful terrace with views of the Tagus river that we enjoyed every morning for coffee in the warm sun and evening for a glass of wine. The apartment is on a third floor walkup but it was not a problem for any of us. We ranged in age from 65 to 8 and we had no issues.

Excellent 3rd floor apartment with gorgeous views

Met by property manager upon arrival and leaving. Everything was great. Really enjoyed the views from the rear deck as well as the front balconies. It is on the 3rd floor with many steps, but to view is worth it.

Great location

Fantastic property in a great location. It was clean and easy to access shopping areas. as with most properties in this area there is a bit of hiking uphill back to the apartment.

Great spot

Great view, easy (though hilly like all of Lisbon) walk to Rossio square and all of the historic center. The place is spacious, comfortable, and homey, with everything you need: Even a drip coffee maker. Highly recommend.

Nice apartment, close to center

The apartment was as advised. It was quite clean overall, with a nice view over the city. Close to the center, metro and railway. Small stairs up to the third floor, prepare to carry your luggage, host was very friendly and helped. The waterflow in the showers was a bit weak. But all in all a great stay for readonable pricing.

Prachtig ruim appartement!

Het appartement is ruim, boven 2 slaapkamers en badkamer en beneden slaapkamer en badkamer. Het was allemaal zo schoon en alles is aanwezig. Bedden lagen heerlijk! En het terras is een groot pluspunt. Supercentraal om Lissabon te ontdekken, ik zou dit appartement iedereen aanraden!!

Superschöne zentrale Wohnung in Lissabon

Traumhafte Wohnung in Toplage, um Lissabon zu erkunden. Für unsere große Truppe mit sieben Leuten genau das Richtige. Es fehlte an nichts.

Très bon séjour

The steps are worth it

There is no elavator but having to take the steps is worth it for the location. The house was clean and inviting. We were met by our host when we arrive, she explained everything we needed to know. The location is excellent. Its just up the block from Rosso square which is an excellent central location fornmany tours.

Lovely apartment with rooftops view

A great clean apartment with fantastic view from the terrace with aircon which was vital during a heatwave stay in August. It is a short walk down hill to Rossio Square and you can catch a funicular during the day back up the hill but this stops at 8pm. Slightly harder to return to the apartment at night - which ever way you return you need to walk up the hill so it certainly keeps you fit!

Très bel appartement !

Superbe appartement avec vue magnifique sur Lisbonne. Hôte très accueillante. Nous recommandons ! Seuls bémols : les rideaux ne sont pas occultants donc réveil très tôt le matin avec le soleil … et les lits simples de la chambre enfants sont très mous ….
