Close to Guedelon

We chose this house due to it being so close to Guedelon. The owners have done a very decent job of remodeling an old country home and the amenities were more than adequate. Check-in was a bit off, but that was due totally to a delay in my receiving notifications from Vrbo. We worked it out with a phone call. My only complaint, and this is nothing that Tom or Gwendolyn could fix, there are only very small towns nearby and as we were there on Sun-Mon, we could not find a single restaurant open anywhere. Nothing. Fortunately there were a couple grocery stores open! Equally fortunately, I accidentally chose a day to visit when Guedelon was open. So look at open and closed dates if you are traveling off season.

Hebergement parfait sauf 2 inconvénients : vaisselle incomplète pour 3 personnes ( seulement 2 assiettes à dessert), un lave-linge aurait été le bien venu ( nous avons essuyé un violent orage alors que nous étions dans les bois à Guedelon et sommes revenus trempés des pieds à la tête malgré nos imperméables "bretons"... nous aurions bien aimé pouvoir laver nos vêtements car en vacances nous n'avions pas beaucoup de vêtements de rechange ) . C'est le premier gîte où nous ne trouvons pas ce confort là et aussi le premier gîte où l'hébergeur ne dépose pas un petit cadeau de bienvenue pour ses hôtes ; dommage car nous avions prévu 2 spécialités de notre régions à son intention et nous avons été obligés de lui téléphoner pour qu'il vienne les chercher. Sinon le cadre était parfait, calme, tranquillité, jardin clos parfait pour le chien et garer la voiture. C'était vraiment ce que nous recherchions. J'espère qu'il sera tenu compte de mes 2 petites critiques qui seraient un pour ce gîte et lui permette d'accéder à un niveau supérieur. Ce n'est qu'une remarque et nous avons été très satisfaits de notre semaine passée au gîte Des Levées et le recommanderons fortement à nos amis et peut-être même y reviendrons nous car il y a tant à visiter dans cette superbe région.

Arrivée sans contact. Code pour clé. Départ idem. Impossible d'utiliser le 1er étage transformé en fournaise. Donc, lit 2 personnes inutilisable. Réfrigérateur trop petit, très fatigué et sans congel. Les couchages du bas sont corrects. Pas de volets dans la chambre du bas d'où l'obligation de dormir sans air et pas de rideau occultant à la porte d'entrée vitrée. Jardin sans attrait. Ménage très moyen. Dommage car l'ensemble est sympa.

Un petit bout de nature

Séjour de découverte de la Puisay en Bourgogne. Nature encore préservée, la maison se situe dans un endroit très calme on n'entend que le chant des oiseaux. Les hameaux aux alentours sont magnifiques, il y a de nombreuses découvertes à faire , comme le château de Guédelon exceptionnel ❤️❤️❤️❤️, Nous avons passé 15 jours ressourçants et enrichissants.

Gite très agréable avec un petit jardin pour manger dehors et une cheminée pour les jours d'automne. Propriétaire sympathique et disponible. Très bon emplacement au milieu de la Puisaye, pour visiter, randonner, aller aux champignons...

Gîte très bien situé, à proximité de sites touristiques ( guedelon, parc de boutissaint...) Dans une impasse très calme en pleine campagne mais proche de village. Très bon week-end passé là-bas en famille. Juste attention il n'y a que 2 chambres pas 3.

Skønt hus i rolige omgivelser

Rigtig fint lille hus som passer perfekt til et par eller en familie med børn. Huset ligger på landet ad en stille vej og har en fin lille have med skyggeplads. Indretningen er praktisk og sengene gode. I nærheden kan du opleve mange spændende ting, herunder arkæologi eksperimentet Guédelon slot, byen St. Sauveur chateau Ratilly og en 2000 år gammel kalkmine. Der var dog et par minusser, deraf kun 3 stjerner: 2 havestole men ingen hynder til dem, køleskabet er meget lille- især om sommeren ( der var ca 30 gr. da vi var der), der manglede fryseplads. Kun meget lille fryseafdeling øverst i køleskabet som ikke kunne lukkes, der var mange spindelvæv over det hele. 2 toiletter er fint, men man skal tage brusebad i et badekar som er placeret under skråvæg. Er du under 1.70 går det nok men ellers møgbesværligt. Men alt i alt et fint lille hus i en fantastisk omgivelse.

Le gite est très agréable. Nous étions 4 adultes et un enfant de 9 ans. Le gite est suffisamment grand et tout le monde a su trouver sa place. L'accueil avec Gwendolyn a été très agréable.

Maison très agréable

La maison est très propre, bien équipé (manque une machine à laver le linge). Maison situé dans un tout petit hameau mais proche de tout a quelques minutes en voiture. Gwendolyn est réactive et très agréable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre balade en forêt et soirée au coin du feu.

Sehr schönes Häuschen und nette Gastgeber

Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes Häuschen am Waldrand. Wir konnten super zu Fuß die Baustelle von Guédelon erreichen und es gibt noch viele andere Tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Wir haben außerdem noch eine tolle Kanu Tour auf der Loire gemacht. Für maximal 4 Personen ist das Haus wirklich weiter zu empfehlen.

Séjour très agréable dans cette charmante petite maison. L'accueil est très plaisant. Nous avons bien apprécié le calme et la salle de séjour cosy avec sa cheminée. Seul petit regret : le manque de rideaux occultants ou de volets dans la chambre du haut, où il fait grand jour dès le lever du soleil.
