Outdoor entertaining comes easy! The large lake front deck has plenty of space for your crew to relax in the sun or nap in the shade. A wooden boardwalk leads to your dock slip where hours of summer fun await. Bring your boat or rent one locally to explore Deep Creek's many quiet coves. The nighttime is full of stars! What a better way to end each day than gathered around the fire pit area for evening conversation and marshmallow roasting.

With Wisp Resort right down the street, you can have paddleboards, kayaks and mountain bikes delivered right to your door. They offer lots of fun activities too! You can golf, ski, ride the mountain coaster, ice skate, zipline, snow tube, play disc golf and more.

Your crew will love the central location of Shelby on the Lake. Restaurants, nightlife, mini golf and marinas are within a five to ten-minute drive. While you are out, be sure to stop by at least one of our seven state parks. From hiking and fishing to cross country skiing and snowshoeing, you can have fun experiences with breathtaking scenery all around you. For a more leisurely way to spend the day, head to historic downtown Oakland. You can browse antique shops, visit the museum or dine at an old-fashioned soda fountain.
