A lifetime of family memories will be made when you choose Brief Respite for your Deep Creek vacation. This lakefront chalet is close to the water's edge and within minutes of numerous area attractions.



Once inside you will find that modern furnishings grace the bright and airy Great Room, however, it is the spectacular lake views that will keep you in awe! A huge stone wood fireplace brings promises of snowy nights cuddled up and bonding with loved ones. A large 46" flat screen TV and a library of DVDs will keep everyone entertained.



The remodeled kitchen showcases gorgeous granite countertops and modern stainless steel appliances. Fully stocked, you have everything you need to make your family's favorite meals. Dine around the dining table and enjoy the lake views or take your meal outside and barbeque on the charcoal grill. Evenings and early mornings are best spent hanging out on the expansive wraparound deck where you can watch lake activities come to life.



A few steps up, you will find your Primary Suite which features a King bed, an oversized jetted tub, separate shower, a 32" flat screen TV and stunning lake views. On this upper level you will also find two more beautifully decorated bedrooms with Queen Sized beds. A full bath with a shower stall only is also on this level.



The lower level Family Room is a warm and cozy area to hang out as you watch your favorite shows on the 42" TV. The adjacent game room is kept comfortable with a gas fireplace and the skylight and big windows allow the sunlight to perfectly filter inside. Playing on the air hockey table will be a favorite activity for all to enjoy. A pub table also makes this a fun hangout area for you and your guests.



The Primary Suite on this level offers not only a King size bed but amazing lake views and deck access. In addition to another full bath, you will also find your final bedroom with a Queen bed.



Outdoor fun is waiting for you whether you are relaxing on the porch swing and enjoying lake views or taking a dip in the bubbling outdoor hot tub. Just a short walk down stair step walkway you will find your dock slip. Whether you choose to bring a boat, rent one locally, or just swim and play, your dock is the perfect place to spend your summer days! Great house at a fantastic location with a beautiful view. Just the brief respite we needed for a high school girls reunion. Very clean with seamless checking in and check out. Great access to the state park and local hiking as well as some close restaurants and activities. Very well stocked, especially in the kitchen. Tho be aware that there is no firewood or hot tub towels. Was a “beary” good stay.

Beautiful house, very spacious, enough seating for 10 adults. Property is on a slight hill so there is steps and an up hill walk when you are out back at the fire pit and to and from the dock. But it was easily walkable. Got to see a lot of deer.

Great place for a get away, but we did need to call the Hot Tub tech. Also, the cabin was lacking a useable whisk, oven mitt, and sharp knives for cooking. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin and would definitely stay here again!

Brief Respite was perfect for our Brothers Weekend. Great location with view and access to lake. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare meals…enjoyed the hot tub during snow flurries experienced during our stay in early April.

AVOID TAYLOR MADE PROPERTIES AT ALL COSTS. Our "lakefront getaway" turned into a health hazard and a customer service nightmare.The Safety Hazard: We woke up in a 55-degree house that reeked of gas. We didn't just lose a day of our trip; we were subjected to dangerous gas levels that left members of our group with physical headaches and respiratory distress.Negligent Management: I called the "emergency" line at 8:30 AM and was told—with zero urgency—that they wouldn't even look into it until the main office opened at 9:00 AM. Apparently, a potential explosion isn't an "emergency" for Taylor Made.The "Solution": We spent the entire day on the phone, eventually being told to stand outside in the freezing winter cold because the house was too toxic to inhabit.The Downgrade: At 2:30 PM, they finally moved us to a smaller, non-lakefront property. We lost an entire day of our vacation, lost the amenities we paid for, and suffered physical illness due to their poorly maintained property.Despite this documented safety failure, management refuses to issue a refund. They are happy to take your money while putting your life at risk. Save your money and your health—book with anyone else.

Our family vacation was a blast at Deep Creek Lake. There is so much to do being on the lake! Brief Respite was perfect for all ages. The house is well stocked and very functional. The views were amazing. I highly recommend this vacation spot and this house for a multigenerational family vacation.

We had a fantastic time at Brief Respite. The house is recently renovated. The kitchen is fully stocked. There are a nice assortment of games and movies. Plenty of seating inside and out for our two families. Convenient access to the lake and to town.
