The unit is located in the tranquil mid-lake community of Timberloft Village, one of the hottest fishing spots on the lake and less than a mile from the sandy shores of Deep Creek Lake State Park, hiking and mountain biking trails, Silver Tree Marina and the Honi Honi Bar. For skiing and sight seeing fans, Wisp Ski Resort is only 4.5 miles away and Swallow Falls State Park , the beautiful scenic trails with amazing waterfalls is only 5.7 miles away. Overall we were pleased with the facility and the location. The listing accurately depicted the house. We were surprised that we did not get the access info until minutes after 4, our previous vrbo host have ensured we had everything prior to the stated check-in time.The front porch seating was filthy and the deck and patio had not been cleaned up or organized. There was a collection of leaves and debris on both around the furniture and hot tub. The kitchen counter was not clean. None of the issues were game changers but definitely is less than expected at this rental price point. Making adjustments to the items noted would provide a more inviting check-in.

Pros: The property is in a nice community with excellent views of the lake. It is very close to restaurants, groceries, state parks, and marina. The host was very responsive, provided clear instructions for everything in the house, checkin, and departure.The kitchen was super well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised to find a spice rack! Most importantly, the pots, the pans, utensils were all clean and usable. I admired that they also had a first aid box.The beds in all rooms were comfy! The bedrooms had a small work area with provision for an external monitor — very thoughtful!! The bathrooms had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in hotel style which came in very handy. The basement had a super large washer and dryer with all the supplies. Again, very thoughtful!We enjoyed the pickleball court, they had supplies!There is a swing in the basement and with the breeze, it is very relaxing on hot days. We did not try the hot tub or grill.The house can comfortably can sleep 10. Great WiFi!!Cons:When we checked in, the main floor smelled of dogs. The listing mentioned “no pets allowed”, so that was a surprise. Plus there was dog hair in the living room furniture sticking to your clothes. Not fun.There was only one bath tissue in each bathroom in the main floor with no extra supplies. We were 5 people who stayed for almost a week, so it was annoying to not have the extra supplies. The outdoor basement area had cobwebs and discouraged us from spending more time there

Perfect location close to amenities. Private boat dock makes multi-day boat rentals much simpler and more convenient. Cozy, comfortable and inviting indoors. Suha (Mom), is an enterprise account executive that thrives on building relationships with her clients and helping them find success through technology. Loves walking, running, hiking and sun bathing. Yasmine (eldest child) graduate from JMU and now a career lady herself. Loves walking, traveling and hanging with friends. Lilly (middle child) is a senior in college and plays D1 lacrosse. Loves wake surfing, fashion and reading a good book. Evan (the youngest child, but tallest one in the family) is a Freshman in college and plays D1 lacrosse. Loves following all sports, enjoys wake surfing and snow boarding.

In the center of the lake, which provides easy travel to all points of lake attraction and within walking distance to prime restaurants and the local food market. One of the best spots on the lake for fishing and within walking distance to the state park for hiking or mountain biking. Community tennis court that is also lined for two pickle ball courts. Pickleball nets roll to center court and equipment is provided at the house.
