Everything we needed for a wonderful time!
This property was not only pleasing to the eye but was incredibly stocked. The kitchens was fully stocked! Pots & pans, crock pot, ect. Owner was honest and recommended we bring our own carving knife. Great towels and comfy beds. The area is beautiful. Exactly what we had hoped for our family vacation ❤️

Family Reunion 2023
We booked this place so that our kids, their spouses and our grandchildren could all stay at the same place. This fit our needs perfectly. The guys took one morning to fish Panguitch lake, we took the better part of another day to visit Bryce Canyon National park, visited for lunch Navajo Lake on another afternoon, did SxS rides on the endless trails. We even attended church in Alton. This place was situated in the middle of it all. Loved sitting on the front deck waiting for the sun to rise, while watching deer and the sound of geese flying in and around the picturesque valley. ❤️

Another trip to Duck Creek Village
This is our 4th or possibly 5th time staying here. Don't know where to begin about all the positives, must experience it for yourself. As always it was very clean and loaded with amenities will be back again in 2 years. John Frank and family

Fantastic Place!
We were a family of 8 adults and 2 children, ranging in ages from 3 to 69. We loved this house! The open plan worked well for us, the kitchen was great and stocked with everything we needed (which says a lot because we cooked in every night), the beds were very comfortable as was the living room furniture. We had plenty of room! The only things that could have been better would have been sharper knives, a large salad bowl, and a hair dryer in the master bedroom downstairs. But those things were very minor and not a huge deal. The location is wonderful—equal distance from Zion and Bryce. I would definitely recommend this house and we would stay here again if we came back to the area. The owner was very easy to work with and very responsive too.

About the host

Hosted by Brett and Lisa Buyack

Host profile image
This property is owned by the Buyack and Pratt families. Natives of Arizona, but we escape to Southern Utah as often as possible.

Why they chose this property

Southern Utah is a hidden jewel. The area has some of the most amazing beauties in the US. Zion National Park is perhaps the most stunning of all the US National Parks, yet you have Bryce Canyon closeby as well. The quad trail systems through the national forest in the area are some of the best in the nation. The property is fun year round with so many activities to do.

What makes this property unique

We built this cabin for us and for our family. It was setup to fit a small or large group combined. We didn't spare any expense as you'll see with the solid wood floors and custom cherry cabinets and granite countertops. The high speed internet, and Satellite TV lets us stay connected to life, yet a step outside and you can watch deer, turkey and numerous other antelope walking around the property. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
