We were traveling to Deer Isle for a family wedding at Aragosta. Our house was walking distance to Aragosta for hardy hikers. We loved the views and open living plan. The bathrooms were very easy for my husband who needs some accommodation.
This property is quite nice located on a beautiful cove down a quiet street (dirt road, actually). It is clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The description and photos of the property were accurate and comprehensive. The kitchen is well equipped. The hosts were responsive during planning, but we had no issues during the rental. Just an overall wonderful, almost magical place on a marvelous island setting. Glorious sunsets. We had a great stay. I recommend highly.
A truly wonderful home to stay in and enjoy the coast of Maine. The home is so well appointed, the owners have thought of everything! And you feel welcomed and cared for.
An outstanding vacation place for our family!!There are so many spaces to enjoy the beauty of the Maine coast right on the property!! The owners were fantastic, providing so much information and responding to any questions we had. I will recommend this property and Deer Isle to everybody.

Hi Daniel - We are so glad that your Maine experience was memorable. Christina and I like to hear that our guests had a good time.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful with great views of the water. The kitchen is well stocked. We took a day trip to Acadia, a boat tour to Isle Au Haut and went kayaking. Definitely recommend staying here - it was a wonderful vacation.
Great location even with its own cobble/sand beach where kayaks/canoes/paddle boards can can be launched in a sheltered cove. Neat detached platforms where one can watch the ocean and enjoy the sunset. Remote yet only a few miles from groceries, restaurants, entertainment, and fresh lobsters.
Spectacular week spent here on the gorgeous coast of Maine. The house is spacious, well- equipped and has a spectacular view! Highly , highly recommended for an exclusive family get away. Hiking, lobster and fresh air.
Clean, comfortable home with spectacular views of the ocean. Relaxing out in the back of the home with it several sitting areas was a highlight. Our family also had a great time hiking the nearby trails, kayaking, and exploring the area.
We stayed for two weeks with family ages 4-89! The grounds of the property were perfect for enjoying the outdoors without going to far. Our favorite activities locally were Barred Island preserve, Sand Beach, and heading out with Captain Paula to pull lobster traps. We also rented kayaks, delivered right to our door.
Wonderful, clean, well-appointed home with beautiful outdoor areas that we all enjoyed. Our group ranged in age between 7 to 80, and everyone had a fantastic week. A lifetime of memories made for sure!!
What fun our group of 9 had exploring Deer Isle! This property on Sellers Rock Run suited our needs perfectly: plenty of room, inside & out; a well appointed kitchen; great beach for treasure hunting; attentive host; and a central location for island exploring. Will be back!
Our second stay at this amazing property was as special as the first. The home with its own beach is fantastic and just as advertised and pictured. The location is quiet and serene; an easy walk to the trail head for Barred Island and fine dining at Aragosta; a quick drive to food and activities in Stonington. A lovely, relaxing week.
The house and location are even better than described. Deer, rabbits, turkeys, raptors, flickers, sea birds, seals abound. The multiple outdoor seating areas allow for different views and perspectives. Barred Island preserve is an easy walk through beautiful forest. Aragosta restaurant is within walking distance and well worth it!
We had a great week at this fabulous property.
It was our second visit!
Post hurricane weather was excellent.
Deer Isle is dreamy in September.
The house has all the creature comforts and the
best setting for sunsets, kayaking and relaxation.
Hope to return again next year.☮️
